The best thing to do would be to avoid this awful island. Even the Greek newspapers confirm the messy situation there. The Kathimerini: Observers note that the inadequate infrastructure, the overcrowding, and the high prices have damaged the island’s reputation. Head to Sifnos, Crete, Elafonissos, Milos, Skopelos and so many more with great prices, perfect beaches and less crowds!
We've visited Mykonos a couple of times and are visiting again in about ten days, you just have to tick that box but as with any popular destination these days there's over capacity. A beautiful island with white washed streets and pebbled paths as can be seen in this excellent vlog. An island full of beautiful privileged people that know it and that can be a little irritating. Just a word of warning, Mykonos is expensive especially the beach clubs, check prices before ordering in the restaurants as many tourists get taken advantage of and get seriously ripped off.
@@thevinceberry What they tend to do is offer you the beach beds and umbrellas for free if you order food and drink and that's when they rip you off, if you complain about the bill they get aggressive, allegedly.
The things you can do in Mikonos is to avoid going to Mikonos all together this place is very very expensive and all sure they will rob you because this island is completely corrupt Sure stay away for your own good great show anyway
@@a.l.3664 Not really, if you know Greece.. you know Mykonos is the worst of so many other outstanding islands! And the food / prices/ quality on other islands and the mainland is 1000 times better.

@@a.l.3664 This year Santorini and Mykonos are very empty due to the poor service, over pricing, scamming etc. Sifnos, Crete, Skiathos, Skopelos, Milos etc etc are all real places.. real food, no scams, proper pricing.. better beaches and no sewages in the sea water , which is the case in Mykonos.. as you may or may not know.
Very Good video and beautiful place to visit. So many people would be imagining how possible to witness this. It’s never easy for someone who has no money. At some point life without money is irrelevant. When you live, always try to invest for future to ensure profits and growth in your earnings.

Mykonos is corrupted. Seasides covered with cement, beaches owned illegally. Some owners acting as mafia bosses, police officers and locals, prosecutors etc are driven away. An archeologist working for the ministry of culture was recently attacked. People there are crazy, slaves or somehow connected to mafia practices.

Those umbrellas and seats on the beach are expensive too I assume?

Most likely an octopus, a common sight on the Greek islands, they do this to remove the ink from their bodies before cooking.
