I miss playing volleyball so much, so thank you! Blocking is my favorite part about being a middle and there are so many good blocking moments in this video! I can't wait to heal up and get back on the court :)

my coach hasn’t given us any assigned roles yet, but I assume she wants me to be middle since last game she put me at middle front and encouraged me to try blocking lol

@@NokkunVolleyball I’m a setter but can’t get the ball in the right place on my hand when I set. It always happens with balls that are high up when bumped, what do I do?
@@neutralnoob4599 Balls that are bumped high are always harder to set because there is more downward momentum. 1st make sure to get the center of your body under the ball, don't be lazy and try to set it from your sides. Keep your hands wide and strong to prepare for a ball that will have a lot of downward force. Push the ball with not just your hands but your entire body, it's a full body motion. If you keep your body centered under the ball and have your hands up you should be able to get that ball directly between both hands for a good set. Personally I like to do a jump set when the ball is passed higher because I can control the time when the ball is set instead of waiting for it.

I could literally watch this all day and not get bored.
It's so fun listening to the ball whenever someone makes contact with it. My favourite sounds are when you guys volley / set the ball.

I’m new to volleyball and I’ve been working really hard on becoming the Libero- since last year we went to semifinals in middle school but it’s a different coach now as a freshmen- her diving practices are hard but fun
can you help me know what i need to practice or do more of to be libero ??x
@@sophiagraceness not the OP but played a bit of libero. have a friend stand around 8ft from you and either tip it, hit it, or lob it far away, and you have to get it straight back to them. its really good practice for diving for tips, digging hits, and ball control

Volleyball is one of my favourite sports. Im usually one of the spikers or blockers. Those two im best at and i prefer to play those roles. Im 6’3, sporty and i think i can jump relatively high so i find blocking easy.
