"Miracles with a Message" ~ Mark

The gospel accounts are full of "representative miracles"--representative in that Jesus performed far more than the ones recorded. That means the ones recorded were chosen for a reason. Beyond displaying Jesus' Messianic credentials and showing his ample compassion; Jesus' miracles serve a redemptive purpose. What is that? The healing miracles teach us about our salvation; our great need and Jesus' great sacrifice to spiritually heal his "sick" and condemned people.
