These type of gypsies once a year camp at the side of the road not far from where I live to sell their wares and graze the horses..they are polite and respectful and never ever leave any mess ...I envy their simple way of life .
I bought what I thought was my dreamhouse I have a vulnerability and a drug dealer neighbour who thinks it's fully to bully me and the authorities seem to stick up for her travelling people my mum's neighbour is one you couldn't meet lovely people genuinely toughest people but nice people
Remember in the late 1980 to 1995 travelling to work and seeing a hooped horse drawn cart one lone traveller by the road side ,he never left any rubbish and was said to be very polite ,i don't know his name but it was on the A 57 road to worksop that i would see him .

Yes they are I agree not many but I know of at least 3 families including one of those in the video they had 2 then but now have a third one boy and 2 girls

Wich made me think no way not in these days when I seen your vid what a hard life and seemingly impossible for people of today nothing romantic about it as people tend to believe!! A person's race, ethnicity, culture etc doesn't define whether they can be trusted. Some of the most loyal, trustworthy and staunch people I've ever met were Gypsy /Traveller, Some of the nastiest, untrustworthy pieces of scum I've met were settlers. There's good and bad in all walks of life, and respect/trust are both 2 way streets. They're earned not automatically given regardless of culture/ethnicity

Society has moved on from being able to support this way of life anymore. The kids miss out on an education, you can't just live at the side of any old road with everyone defecating in the undergrowth. It's backward.
I'm talking about the majority of a minority. Its a sad fact my friend I have lived up to my neck with many many traveller families. Some are still some of most cherished friends. Not a bad bone in some, but many nights after we'd done for the day maybe 20 travellers and me would be out on the lane laughing and joking about our day. But too many took real delight that got 6 grand that day for some roof repair and the more vulnerable they were the more they were targeted. I used to come across their jobs and customers all the time and I used to say even then, why devastated that poor woman? there's more than enough dough for all of us. We'll they'd say she had the look of a new C Class about her. That happens all the time with settled folk but they are in a very very small minority of a huge majority. I know Patrick Rooney, I was with him just before he got jailed. It's just not necessary to be so greedy. Believe it or not most settled don't really give a fuck. We don't hate you as much as you think we do. It's a great life. But taking over others land and the complete lack of respect pisses everyone off so much It's the little things. You don't seem to want to be part of us then get lairy cause you ain't accepted. I know all about your shows and your brags and why they are important to you but as I said to Patr practically the night before he was jailed and was actually remorseful in his own way. I said the thing is you've to do more good than bad in this game whatever life you lead. I know many travellers better than Patrick. It's compromise for the both of us. We don't hate you, besides who's planet is it anyway?
@Ivor Biggen point taken and I have also expressed my naivety in the past thinking all travellers,gypsy's and Romani knew each other, seems stupid now. But unfortunately the lifestyle of old has gone and its just not that easy anymore. I've always felt I should have been a gypsy due to our similar outlook on life and I always assumed that was why it was always easy for me to integrate. Romani just can't roam like they used to and travellers can't travel, its just the way it is and not personally directed at the gypsy community. It's like the chicken or the egg, which came first? Goes back maybe as far as India, were you persecuted even then and never really escaped that or is it because you took advantage of us all the time and people are rightly stand offish ? My guess the answer lies somewhere in the middle. Compromise. How many gorgers have sat on your sofa? How many weddings have we invited you to? It's both of us and all we can really do is treat people like we like to be treated no matter who they are or where they are from. "Education" and manners and you'll sail through life with a peaceful soul and live longer. It's a beautiful feeling doing a favour for complete stranger who's in need of a spot of help and I swear it's been mostly travellers who have been there for me when I was in a spot. Anyway my friend it has been great to talk with you whoever you are but I'll leave you with my own personal tip on gorger or gypsy. Do you know how to defeat every enemy you'll ever have ? Make them like you 🤫❤
