These bikes have an advantage over older 26” mtn bikes in tire availability. Easy to make a casual all terrain bike. It does not have a RD dropout but my main “gravel bike” is a Univega 27” road bike using an old suntour VGT RD with integrated hangar.

Stem seems to be not enough inserted, check minimum insertion line. Nice bike! 🤝
Good point about tire selection. I'm a fan of Univegas. What model is it?
