Favvorite Xscape is Tonight & it's not close but if it were, Who Can I Run To is the closest 2nd to it. But Tonight gives them all moments to show off & I love that, and it's so simple in production. You know what's funny too, I FORGET how much I love Understanding until I hear it (both live & the recorded version). But yea, vocally En Vogue & Xscape vocally are my 2 favorite groups, I can't say enough I love/prefer groups without a lead where every member is the lead , and that's also my love TLC with em too.
Who can I run to? is actually a cover of The Jones Girls. Missy Elliott sampled the original around the time Xscape originally covered it in 1995. Missy Elliott was in a group called Sista. Sista sampled it on "Good Thang". But their album got shelved, then un-shelved in 2020 when it was released on vinyl and for streaming and paid download. The Arms Or The One Who Loves You is probably my favorite Xscape song. There's just something about the writing from Diane Warren in that song.

i was sitting next to Xscape in the front row and this performance was electric. But can we talk about how Chante Moore fell off stage and had to redo the performance. The performance they showed on tv was the second one and she killed it both times even after she fell off stage
