Basic recap of a Mesa/Boogie Quad Pre-amp. Also adds MIDI to it, which is nice since the foot switch is rare. Video wraps up with a brief walk through of the schematic.
Just had mine done by a certified Boogie tech, he found major inconsistencies with the schematics and what he found in my Quad, and he said it came like that from the factory, push/pull switches wired incorrectly or not wired at all, other stuff like that, he was wondering if all the Quads came out like that, so I’m looking to hear it as it was supposed to sound like in the first place?! He’s adding a custom extra gain stage on Lead #2, will have to see what that sounds like…. Thanks for your video, would love to see more on your Quad
Hey thanks for watching! Feel free to shoot me an email about your quad pre at TubesNStufff@gmail.com (that's Stufff with 3 f's). I bet we can work something out
Would to see more amp repairs! Great job! Cheers
Love the channel man, great video on the Quad too.
