- Join me as a walk a mile down Mandalay Avenue and S Gulfview Blvd in the main area of Clearwater Beach. I start at SandPearl Resort and continue past hotels, restaurants, the Pier and hop on the Boardwalk for a few minutes.

I loved this video. Thank you for sharing your experience and providing some insights on the various hotels. The information is very helpful as I am planning a trip to Clearwater Beach and a lot of my questions were answered. It was nice to get a view of the actual vicinity hotels and beaches and boat rentals are from each other.
I live on Clearwater Beach, have for 27 years. I have dolphins in my backyard

Great video tour. I appreciate that you panned the camera around slowly to show the different areas. It can be dizzying if done too fast. Excellent video quality. Maybe mitigate the wind noise more would be the only minor bit pick. I liked the live audio guidance.

We love Clearwater. We stay at Shephard’s Beach resort every time and have always had an awesome time. The crape restaurant by that hotel is my favorite place for lunch.

I lived on Clearwater Beach for a couple of years. I found it a pleasant place. Frenchy's on the beach was my favorite. The Grouper sandwich.

Nice video. There is a parking garage behind Hogans Hangouts. You were down there and didn't stop by to say hello ? I sometimes go to the pier, after 5p toward sunset, just to people watch, stay for sunset, people set up little souvenir and gift displays right on the pier, and usually in the evenings their is somekind of free entertainment just off the pier !
There is definitely some great people watching by the pier. Love the Hogans Hangouts addition! Good tip about the parking garage. Thanks!

Does Clearwater have a downtown or is it nothing more than one big tourist beach?
Ive been to clearwater beach it is a very long stripe where there are nice places to eat and lots of fun activities and to answer your question no there is not a downtown Clearwater but there is Tampa which you have to cross a long bridge.

We are heading down there at the end of May. Few days in Orlando then off to St. Pete's and looking at the Wyndham but expensive with kids. Help?

Do you recommend staying at the sand pearl or Wyndham for a relaxing girls weekend ?
Both are great. If you are looking for relaxing, Sand Pearl will be quieter. The Wyndham is fantastic but right in the middle of all the action.

Hi Inna, the Hampton Inn is past the end of the beach. It is waterfront but not oceanfront.

Would you stay at the sands pearl or Wyndham clear water us you were going to a relaxing girls weeekend ?
For a relaxing weekend, I suggest Sand Pearl. It is located in a quieter area. They Wyndham is fantastic but right in the middle of all of the action.
Can you actually surf in Clearwater Beach?
My friend is going to freak out when she finds out there is a Starbucks inside my hotel
Sandpearl or Opal Sands? Couple in our mid 30s.
You can’t go wrong with either! Opal sands is newer and I prefer their rooms so I lean towards that one.
How does the new jw marriott look?
Heading over there in a couple of weeks and planning on grabbing some footage! Looking forward to seeing it.

Hilton is dated but the amenities and location are definitely a trade off.
That location is hard to beat!
