We have had the craziest weather this year here in the Arizona desert. Naturally, many of our goats are due right as a huge snow storm is rolling in. Please hold those babies in ladies!

I am so grateful Blue Cactus Dairy popped up in my choices this past week. I have been binge watching for hours. I love goats. They are adorable in their antics. My Mom had a pet goat when she was a child and I guess that’s part of where I gained my interest.
I just can't wait for the babies!
We have a due date tomorrow so we will see. We have cold temps right now but a small warm up this week mid 30’s next week when most are due low 20’s and single number at night. Good luck.

Oh, Cristal. We had a few cold snaps when my rabbits were expecting: I filled their 6 foot cages with Oat Straw, covered the sides of the cages with tarp, and fed a bit more alfalfa hay.

This is good to watch because I live in southeastern Colorado and we quite often get snow in the spring.. this year we even had snow in June. I do have a small cozy barn. This will be my first time breeding goats and kidding. I am binging all the goat videos I can find about breeding Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Your channel has been a wealth of knowledge. I got 2.5 feet yesterday and it was my doe’s due date. She had her babies 3 days ago and I am SO glad it wasn’t yesterday. Haha
