Everyone says don't do this upgrade on different pages, you my friend have made this super easy for anybody! Thank you I just ordered tons of tandemkross parts for my mark iv lite
I just joined this channel/site today!,, and I’m most impressed!! With the videos and step by step explanations !! Well done!! And I’ve placed an order today!! Very impressed!!!
Great video! The four-in-one tool makes the removal of the extractor super easy. I changed my extractor earlier today. It's literally a two minute job. Thanks for this excellent demonstration.
Thanks for posting this video. I could not have changed the extractor without your guidance. It's interesting how the extractor was one out on the side facing in. Rather than the hook itself. I'm guessing that as it wore thin against the bolt, it started moving up and down laterally and caused crossed cartridge jams.
Good video. All of these steps also apply to a Ruger MK II. The part that helped me was pinning the plunger in place (1:30). I was struggling before watching that tip. I have a set of strong tiny screwdrivers for eyeglasses. I used the 2nd smallest to pin the plunger and then the smallest one to bottom out the plunger (I don't have a dental pick). Once the old extractor is out, you're home free! Thx!
.22 hates cold weather.. The extractor and firing pin upgrade made a world of difference while shooting in the cold ! I'd love to see a cost effective Magwell for the 22/45. Thanks for all the great products !!
Highly recommend this product. I was having a 1 in 15 stovepipe with a Ruger Mkiv Hunter. Tried various ammunition and made little difference , seemed to have better performance with mini mag target. Ruger make a very accurate pistol, it is a shame that some details seem to be very poorly designed. With the Hunter model it seems that stovepipes and the front sight coming loose are a common problem. Front sight is not a problem to fix, but when you pay good money for a product you should not have to deal with design flaws.
You guys make great products. I wish you would make an extractor for the Savage MKll. It's a great rifle but the stock extractor stinks and I don't think anyone makes an after market one. Keep up the great work!
The plunger and spring don't disappear when your extractor breaks in half, IF a few molecules of the old extractor get in the way preventing its exit. A new extractor spring and extractor from Ruger are $4/each plus 6 dollars shipping, I happen to have discovered.
TANDEMKROSS I put in the new extractor and firing pin with only a minor struggle doing the extractor. Shoots well, spent shells come flying out of the ejection port. I’m still having problems with failure-to-feeds but at this point I believe it’s my magazines causing it
Glad to hear you're living the parts! If you haven't already, check out our mag tuning video - it has helped a lot of our customers with similar issues! ruclips.net/video/GL1rIj43sGA/видео.html
The only question is if these bad boys work with mk 4 bolts, i did hear from some dude on the internet that the mk3 and mk4 bolts can be swapped out but one can never be so sure unless shown.
Lots of practice doing it helps, but so does the tool used in the video: www.tandemkross.com/Gunsmither-Pistol-Pal-for-MKI%E2%84%A2-MKII%E2%84%A2-MKIII%E2%84%A2-MKIV%E2%84%A2-and-2245%E2%84%A2_p_52.html

[TK] vids are the best, right to the point and very clear, No BS no fumbling around.
great video. The hardest thing about these installs is the mechanism of the guns themselves.
Thanks for watching!
