The 3-1 Steelers look to continue their good start to the year as they face David Garrard and the Jaguars, in a Sunday night rematch of their thrilling 2007 Wild Card game.
This was the last time the Jags were on Sunday night football. They will however be on a Sunday Night Football once again ten years later playing the same opponent in the same location.
The Jaguars always looked at the Steelers as a lithmus test. They played them more competently than they ever did the Titans or Colts. Unfortunately for the Jags, they're no longer in the same division as the Steelers, and I think that has hurt them in the long run.

I seriously do not understand how tf Steelers can beat teams like the Ravens, The Manning's Colts, Green Bay, they can put up a decent fight and every once in a while upset Patriots, compete with good teams every season, and still *always* struggle or just straight up *LOSE* to the Jaguars
In 2008 the gators won another championship..if David would have switched positions with Tebow in 2008 I'm sure the gators would not have won the national championship..and I'm sure Jacksonville would have won a couple more games..offensive players..Matt Jones Greg Jones Andrew Jones drew fred Taylor Tim Tebow Mercedes Lewis
2:05:43 This is what I hate about the NFL, they take too fucking long to determine something from replays. I needed one fucking look at that to conclude that it was a catch, yet they need almost 2 minutes. It's honestly pathetic.

And the same scenario too. Jacksonville is coming off a season with a big win in the playoffs over Pittsburgh.

I could swear this was the last time the Jags were ever on SNF.
Yup until tonight
I was at this game! Good times Go Steelers!!!
Jaguars and steelers also seemed to be close games

coaching
Raiders too
Playing down to competition
Over so many years you can only blame coaching
@@countof3everybodyOD it's been like this under Cowher! Idk why the fan base assume it's always under Tomlin!
2:09:22 RIP John Madden :(
Fred Taylor 4.29 on pro day...I'm Taylor's biggest fan..that time can't be clean
57:22 Whatever Williams said, he instantly healed Washington. How can you penalize that?
God I miss the Faith Hill SNF opening intro
I can't stand her fucking nasal voice
Said no one ever
You don't have steelers vs Texans games that you can post

Matt Jones 40 combine time 4.38...at 6'6" he's one or the fastest guy ever at 6'6" in nfl history.....cocaine it a terrible way to end a career..
He was fast but he had no quickness though
who won the game?
Jerome Ashley Steelers
That Number 43 led the Steelers to Super Bowl 43.
The worst personal foul call on the first play I have seen in a long time...he never touched him
R.I.P., John Madden.
Huh 🤔 John madden isn't dead.
He's still alive.

Unless Trevor Lawrence balls out for the Jaguars, this is their last appearance to date on NBC’s Sunday Night Football to date.
Garrad trash there just putting 8 to 10 people in the box daring him to throw it deep
A lot of these officials were fired after. Talk about obviously biased
Oh dear
Yeah, Ben is nothing without AB and Bell! 😂 (I’m being sarcastic)
Austin Clements He won 2 Super Bowls without AB and Bell...
You must be a Bengals fan
Nah, I was sarcastic. Big Ben is great on his own. Sorry for the confusion.
Sorry for the confusion. I was being sarcastic. Ben was great before and will be great after AB/Bell.
Bell and Brown were both head cases.
horribly officiated game.
😆😆
Most of them were fired after this game
Taunting is part of the game. Dumb rule.
Only low IQ morons look at it that way. Sportsmanship-ever heard of it, dickhead?
@@pretorious700 yet a helmet to helmet hit is the same penalty.
True, you big dummy jerk.
Damn Garrard was trash
Ben has been over dramatizing injuries for years.
John Moore lol sure
He went out and played with a broken thumb once, and an injured ankle. What the hell are you talking about?
