Fahri Kerem Ay (05) is a Beşiktaş JK academy product who made pretty much the entirity of his youth career at the club, now a 2nd year U19 player yet to debut but making the bench for the first time recently as well as making a few appearances in the senior squad training so there's hope that he will get a chance at least in the pre-season. Not a flashy prospect but has what most coaches want in a player, inteligence, hard to tell what kind of potential he has, but has some great ingredients to be a valuable squad member.
Pros:
Midfielder who plays further up the pitch, sometimes even pairing with the striker, usually operating between the opponents defence and midfield
Has freedom of movement but clearly prefers to occupate spaces on the right
Extremely confortable with playing in between the lines, looking to receive the ball in these kind of spaces most of the time
Left footed but uses his right foot brilliantly to orientate himself to the attack swiftly and execute passes quicker
Roaming
Inteligent at exploring the backs of the defenders, will exploit the gaps between CB/WB to make runs in behind
Will appear in the final third in dangerous areas, either crossing or finishing, quite often
As you can tell, by far his best characteristic is his undertanding of off the ball movement and reading of the space
Can be both the finisher and creator
Playmaking, plays with purpose and with quick tempo
Dynamic playstyle
First touch
Vision
Will look for through balls or switch up plays
Vertical vision and passing
Preference for 1/2 touch football
Engaging wingers and striker
Agressive
Great reaction to both loss and win of possession
Weaknesses:
Below average when it comes to physical characteristics
Not a realiable in the offensive 1v1, slow in small spaces and not agile the biggest causes
Can sometimes misread teamates intentions
