Had a braw day out for the last day on the tweed, 28 browns and grayling for 6 mile.nothing over 1lb But hooked a to big a salmon for my 5 weight on a 5 mm pheasant tail black bead flu orange thorax. in between all the salmon lads.( they got nout) unfortunately. Got a hell of a good look at it twice out the water but it unwound my knot by the time me auld dad get in the water to try net it. What a day I tell you. I’ve a good olive variant to share if you’d like its a braw winged wet. Beats the most of my box. Including the waterhen at times. That surprises me tbh as that’s my go too. Especially good in faster water. Be good I bet on your Doon about 1-3 pm I’ll email some images over if you send me an address
Meant to say I’d love to send you a pick of that 24.5” er I got in my too. It’s one thing telling you but the image says the rest tbh. Good photo my dad got. Not so great at netting tho lol. Needed to do that myself. Braw auld man! ❤
