Hello, My name is Michael Nielsen. I created Outdoor Therapy as a passion project - to help you relax, unwind and sleep better. Outdoor Therapy (also called Nature Therapy, Forest Therapy, Ecotherapy, and Forest Bathing / Shinrin-yoku (森林浴) originated in Japan in the 1980's and is known to be very beneficial for Mental Health.

I love this one. I grew up in a tiny village in Germany. We were just a short bike riding distance from a castle. The canopy of the forest was thick enough that I could walk around in it without really getting hardly wet. I would hang around close to the castle walls while still under the protection and go into a dream like state just listening to the rain, and dreaming about owning the castle. This reminds me of that.

Yes!!!! I agree. I'm in a horrible spot curr,my heart hurts, but at times it hurts less and actually feels ok, not great, not big happiness, but ok. I know big happiness is coming, especially when I will be able to think about my current situation and not feel the stabs,.that is a future time, not now, but coming 💜

I have visited 11 castles in my life and would never willingly live in one. They are dim, often cold and creepy as hell.

Medieval is a term that defines a period of time in history, which literally translates to “of the Middle Ages”. More specifically it is generally accepted to be the period from the collapse of the Roman Empire to the beginning of the Renaissance. It does not carry any connotations of a set of practices, religious or otherwise. It simply implies that the castle itself was constructed during this time period.
