Luckly no snow 😱😱🤯.. 25 °c overhere 🤩... Great topic i know its very important the stance too portrait a car , but modeling shoot are so much harder 🤔😉
My brother went up to Yellowstone and it was snowing a ton! Also, pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth helps minimize double chins and shifting the model's weight to their back leg when posing helps lengthen and slim the model.
Jay should definitely make a RUclips channel. Very helpful tips! Already like his personality. Would love to see more. Following on Instagram immediately. Haha
DUDE! First of all, this video is SOOOOO VALUABLE!!!! Second... I actually still can't believe how ridiculously beautiful that snow was for you guys. Glad you got to capitalize on that opportunity!
I'm not a professional photographer, but I've been asked by two different family members to shoot their weddings. I've been watching RUclips videos like mad looking for tips and tricks. These were great. Now I just hope I can remember them!
This wasn't a "Hau to pose for photos" This was "Hau to be a confident comfortable person" Another amazing video Chris, and I am waiting for Jay's channel 🙂
WOW! As a student of anthropology and psychology, I am impressed by Jay's extensive knowledge of body language! He's absolutely right on everything; goes to show how much photography can really teach you! :)
Hey Chris, thanks for introducing us to Jay. What a dude, his Instagram is awesome - he makes the back of someone’s head look a hundred time better than I can make a smiling face look. He should definitely start a channel, I’d be subscriber number one!
This is so interesting, body language is the key to understand the meaning of the pic, also the colors say a lot to me,I hope you can talk about it ,thanks chris
Yeah, he did a great job on camera - felt very conversational (which is the hardest part in my opinion). Definitely think he should make a channel, or at very least do more collabs with you and Lizzie.
Fantastic tutorial! I know these should be common things to look for when shooting portraits but it often escapes my thought process. I am going to try doing a better job in keeping these tips in the forefront of my mind
Wow that was awesome. I hate doing portraits just for those small reasons he explained. I can now see i have a poor understanding of body language and have lots to learn, that portraits can be possible in the future. Thanks guys! 👍
Jeeeeez. I’ve never seen so much vanity as I see in you two. All you do is pose for photographs. There’s more to life than getting photos for instagram.
Loved this video, such great insight from Jay, I've only taken the odd portrait of someone but one of the things I never know to do is what to say and so many of these tips are such simple tweaks to make a portrait go from 0 to 100, great vid.
love the tutorial, I am learning portrait photography and perfect timing for me to learn simple but very important props. Btw, Lizzy is so beautiful and natural. Dreaming of visiting Canada - Banff 1 day. Thanks again.
Another tip for taking portraits is to be the subjects cheer leader. Most people don’t really feel comfortable in front of a camera and if you let let know they are doing great it gives them the confidence they need to loosen up and it shows on camera. Also, to relax the face you can tell them to fake yawn which stretches the muscles but also it most often leads in a laugh because it’s kinda silly which again makes them feel comfortable and relaxed which in turn shows on camera
JAY BAE. So stinkin' proud of you. Now take my portrait like one of your Instagram girls. Also, I would watch all the chube videos if you had a channel. Chris, killing it like ALWAYS.
Anyone else experiencing snow in June!? Also throw some more posing tips below :)
In Ireland, so permanent rain :( Thanks for the vid dude, great tips!
