Wartook, Grampians trout fishing with mudeyes and trolling

We had a fishing comp with the Horsham Angling club at Lake Wartook in the Grampians, September 2022. The trout were biting well, we managed 35 trout for the weekend but most were small. Here is footage of some of our trip. We did alright in the comp too !

Thanks ! line depth under the float varies. usually I like to fish the mudeye mid water so it was about 1.5 metre under the float this video

Putting scent on mydeyes, seems to work

Yes we started useing scents on mudeyes November last year. It has certainly boosted our catch rates
