In this 3rd episode we are gathering resources to begin the creation of a rudimentary farmstead. My mind wanders to The Greatest Generation and their fight for freedom 80 years ago. The old adage ‘Freedom isn’t Free’ springs to mind.
(I made a list of items and installed mods. Some I placed and the majority were placed by my daughter (SealyEG)! In hindsight that may have been a mistake. I’m not sure I’ll be able to find the items from the map’s decorative objects… The hunt is on!)

Funny you should mention The Longest Day and Pegasus Bridge. I read a post on Bluesky earlier.
In 'The Longest Day', Major Howard was played by actor Richard Todd. In WW2 itself, Todd had fought alongside the real Howard to hold the bridge. He was originally asked to play himself, but refused. "I think after 15 years I'm due a promotion." He joked. So they cast him as Howard instead.
Thank you from my Dad, who was at Pearl Harbor, for your recognition of June5-6 as days that should live in all our hearts. I always watch The Longest Day on June 6th and From Here To Eternity on December 7th. Great series, by the way.

Thank you mentioning D-Day, my dad was one of the glider pilots that flew a glider and helped take Pegasus bridge, he was member of the 6th Airborne, he didn't speak a lot about that time when we were younger, now i realise it was probably due to the trauma of the things he had to go through. Love the videos keep it up

Another great episode and thank you for soldering on. I hope you do feel better soon. I think the fact you’re playing small equipment and keeping things on a smaller scale really as to the emersion you can’t please everybody but it’s about the journey not the destination and this journey is amazing.

hugh thumbs up from me @MrSealyp, ive had a tough yearly mentally and really struggled to wathc or play FS which normally was my go-to stress relief but i lost my FS mojo so to speak, this however is absolutly brilliant to watch and even i am looking for people walking around when your playing lol, i hope you continue ths series for as long as you can adn maybe stick to older non cabbed tractors as they should have less eletronics inside them. one suggestion i have is blacksheeps MF skid steer as its an older piece of equipment that could go very well. i wish everybody a happy day 😄
After all those years of playing this game and watching your videos, I always thought there was nothing new left to try in terms of content creation mate. This came as a real surprise to me. The first episode was kind of a bummer I have to admit. But now this is turning into something quite enjoyable. And cudos for the amazing preparation. That should have taken quite a patience.

MrP, I've been watching you and subbed since FS15, this is one of the best series you have done, it is exceptional. I found a series on the BBC about the D Day landings called the lost tapes. If you havent seen it I recommend it, brings a lot of truths home to how much people sacrificed.

I just had a chance to watch this one, but your conversation about D-Day made me think you might webbing the RUclips channel Memoirs of World War II. They do interviews with survivors of all different battles during that time, and it really gives you a better understanding of why they were the Greatest Generation.

You missed the opeetunity in Esp 2 to get the Scythe and cut the grass where you could of shoveled the grass to one side as you found a shovel then plowed to make small plots. You could of barted the grass or saved it for future life stock
There is the bunker silo that came out Friday.... you didn't do a mod review of .... but you could add to the map as a way to find equipment that wasn't effected by the EMP
Loving this new series, although only just started watching it, fantastic 😊, can i just ask though with being on console, how do you set it up where you can take out certain amounts of money, like when you bought the small tractor and it cost you 6,000 and you took out that amount, thought you could only do that on pc, but obviously not, thanks keep up the great series you do, thinking of starting up a RUclips channel to do things like this on fs22 and hopefully into fs25

Okay, first, are you taking care of yourself? Crushed thumb, and now a cold(?). We need a healthy MrSealyp. Second, I did not think this series was going to be for me, but now I'm into it. And I knew that machete was going to show up. 🙂 When I saw the mods out today, I was hoping that you didn't think you had to go over all 60 buildings from Black Sheep. When you didn't release anything today, that was my first thought. Take care of yourself sir. Keep doing what you think is fun. And if you want to play some Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, I'll be watching.
Other places you could of checked for toys is under bridges.
The US War Department made so many Purple Hearts in anticipation of heavy losses on D-Day that they were still giving those out during Vietnam.

I have to say ive been through alot of u tubers in fs22 but u mr silly p is my favorite one so far i am more of a forestry guy but like to do other things sum im always lookin for maps that do more forestry but have the other too thanks to u it makes it easier so far deadwood is a good one but my favorite map is fairhead bc im irish and my family decended from there but its just to hard to play u cant get read if any fences its so hilly and i suck at landscaping so im goin back to dead wood anyone else have any suggestions

Why not get the grey spreader at the barter market
Did u try to drive the spreader up next to the lime n the trailer and click the left joystick to start filling?
Is there still the night vision goggles mod ? Or was that fs19 ?
Is there any way that I could get a copy of the ‘SURVIVE to FARM' for pc with every thing you have added ? or could you please put it in mod hub so I could play it That is a great idea and change that I think every body would like to do or play if you can
