ERIC KRASNO & OTIS MC DONALD - BE YOUR MAN

Eric Krasno announces his newest single “Be Your Man” a collaboration with Otis McDonald will be released on September 22nd on his Feel Music Group label. Although it was co-written by Krasno the song was first recorded by Aaron Neville for his 2016 Apache album, produced by Krasno. The pair share a special bond as most recently they received a GRAMMY for Neville’s Award winning record “Stompin’ Ground,” written by Eric Krasno.
Eric Krasno recalls, “ ‘Be Your Man’ was originally written by Dave Gutter and myself for Aaron Neville’s album. I sang on the original demo and always loved singing that song. I performed it live a few times with my band and eventually, I sent a basic stripped-down version to Otis McDonald.”
He continues, “Otis decided to work up a new arrangement and I LOVED it. I added my vocals and guitars and the rest is history. The one and only Nigel Hall also added some background vocals to the mix. The lyrics describe a man who will do anything for his woman and would stand by her at all costs.”
The extra funky take on the new song is due out September 22nd on Mixto Records/ Feel Music and will be available everywhere, pre-save here.
This isn’t the first time the dynamic duo made magic, Eric Krasno and Otis McDanold first started writing together on their King Canyon project. The new project is about to release a limited edition blue marble 140G vinyl exclusively at Mixto Records, Bandcamp and Fatbeats.
