Wow! This is Musical History 🎵 ✊🏾❤️
The hardest working man in show business!
This performance is nothing short of ICONIC! The way James moves and commands the stage is so mesmerizing. Also cool to see Bootsy Collins on bass.
My sister and I saw the Great James Brown at Chicago’s Arie Crown Theatre in the late “70’s - we were young teenagers.., it was electrifying and we were So excited.
Will never forget it.
James Brown was THEEEEEE Master Performer and his band was the greatest.👏🏼👍🏼💪🏽💕
If u sa James Brown thé u ' ré blessé by GOD
This is legendary, perhaps one of the top live performances ever! Love to J.B. and to the rest of the band. Hats off….
When I was a small kid, my mom was the first one at the record store when the new James Brown single came out. This man and his band touched souls the world over.
Man, back then James and his Bobby's had it ALL... Rythem, moves, voices, appearances, class... It ALL came together on stage like a one man machine...
This will NEVER age!
Absolute amazing performance. The man and the band are legendary.
Now this is definitely one life that mattered. Soul Brother Number 1.

OH MY! I lived in Roma for 20 Years, but I missed that Concert! Europeans LOVED James Brown as they LOVED Josephine Baker! I saw Duke Ellington however, and his Orchestra at the Coliseum and let me tell you,TEARS IN MY EYES! Like This! Thank You!
Every chance I got when he performed in Detroit I was there . Great show, great talent and nobody could dance like him. The Godfather of Soul was the best . RIP James Brown
One of the greatest singers of all time .
But JB lost a lotta cool points with me for how he and David Ruffin treated/abused Tammi Terrell.
Beautiful Sistah! Black Woman Magic!!! Such a musical gift and genius is James Brown. A real Artist and Master of movement and voice!
Who was that sexy dancer?
@@NavarinoDC She is Elza Soares, "Queen of Samba" a Brazilian icon, singer and a mother of 8 (in this clip she is 40 yo and has four children...)
She has been rewarded "Singer of the Century" by BBC.
She died just a month ago at 91 yo. The mayor of Rio de Janerio proclamed three days of sorrow.
For many years she was married to fotboll star Garrincha.
In Brazil, and other latino countries, she was as big of a star you can be.
She did everything 100 % her entire life.
i never knew how good james brown before this..i only listen to that "i feel good" song on tv.. but after seeing this live show now i know... THAT A TRUE LEGEND!!..EVERYTHING PERFECT!!

Maravilos 💐🏄♂️🤙💖🙏
Background vocalist is the one and only Bobby Bird,
Bobby Bird was the perfect foil for James Brown. Like pushing and pulling and trading jabs. His voice compliments the music.
Bobby BYRD
Without Bobby Byrd, there's no James Brown.
BOBBY Byrd GOT THAT FUNK!!
@@christophercasey6775 LOVE BOBBY. Cute too. So cheated by James.
El universo tembló cuando James Braun dio vida su primera nota...

❤James Brown sax machine of note....complimented by his energised band members and his saxy lady swinging on the top of the stage 🎉
James killing it on keyboards 4:28
You learn something every day - he was good at that, too.
@@AshleyPomeroy Anyone know what amps and cabs they use? They have a whole wall there but can't really read the brand.
I never knew that James could play the keyboard so well. God bless him.
With absolute ease
I lost it when he started to sing 'It's a Man's World'. Why couldn't I have been there? Life is cruel sometimes.
And the dancer is sexy as hell.
UGHH!!! I DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE
Listen to James Brown sing mans world with Pavarotti. Its stunningly beautiful..
@@davidd7036 Man I listened...the voices are so amazing and soulful! Thanks!!

If only our appreciation of others cultures and arts spread as quickly as Covid seemed to do, we'd have a perfect World.
Take care.
