After re-watching the video on youtube I noticed that the image quality is quite bad. I dont know what caused that but I will look into it. The Hero 6 has awesome image quality that deserves to be shown!
Les trois vallées is an awesome skiarea, perfect for when you want to ski or board long distances without repetition. I usally stay at Les Menuires, as it is a bit cheaper and not as busy as Val Thorens, definately don't expect it to be this quiet in februari. I wish you a good trip, have fun!
Hi Great video! We are going to V.T on the 3rd of December this year for 7 nights I'm going for the first time at this date. I'm looking at the live cams and I'm worried that there will be not enough snow. Is it a risk? Thanks
Thanks! Have fun, it's a great area to ski! It's early in the season (3rd of december) so ofcourse it is possible that there isn't as much snow as you would like. Luckily they have a lot of snowcannons (250+) so even when there is no natural snow, enough can be made for the primary routes. Usally it starts snowing in november so I guess we have to wait and see. I usally keep an eye on the weatherforecast and charts on "sneeuwhoogte.nl" I don't know if there are similar websites in other languages, I assume there are. To get you going: www.sneeuwhoogte.nl/sneeuwverwachting/frankrijk Shows a list of expected snow/rain in the next 5 days for france. www.sneeuwhoogte.nl/kaarten expected snowfall on maps for up to 5 days in the future.
You'll be fine.. driving upto the resort you may think there is not enough snow but wait till you get to the resort. You will be surprised. I went around that time two seasons ago and was very surprised. I went again this season and it was the best by far but looking at the reports it will be fine
