one thing i like about it though is that it's has more torque than its rivals, i had a 75hp polo with 130nm compared to my 114nm 80hp clio and you can feel it
Sweet fuck all. I travel 30km to work and back 2 times a day 3 days a week. If starting on full tank. Still have atleast quarter once finished. So that's what. 240km? So maybe a full tank would do about 300 or so. Which isn't too bad
Hi, i'm planning to buy the same, could you tell me about the reliability of this engine, if you have encountered any problems with it? Also i'm surprised you said the engine struggles because it is the same unit mounted in the golf 4 which is heavier yet seems to do a decent job! i thought 75 hp was more than enough for the 6n2
For my 182 cm it's quiet comfortable, but you can change the seat distance and height. The space of the rear seats are small but it's ok for normal sized people. We usually use this car for family trips once in a year, that means I drive about than 5-600 kms then. Engine is not so strong, only 75 HP, the comfortable speed is around 120, but on uphills with 1+3 people and packages you can hear that the engine is struggling. If you want to use this car for city drive and sometimes for trips it's okay, but if you're always on the highways I recommend you a stronger engine. Btw, this is my first car, I really recommend it. I think I will keep it for 2-3 years, then I will buy a stronger one.
@@istvankincs632 thanks for the reply.Im looking to buy a supermini and i thought of a polo 90 hp or 101 hp of I'm lucky to find a good deal.Another alternative was the citroen c2 vts but i can't seem to decide.I know the polo has a better interior but i don't know if i can squeeze enough out of it from time to time.I guess I'll have to test drive one.
My uncle has a 1995 Volkswagen Polo 6n 1.0 and this is a reliable and honest car
50hp is suitable for a peugeot 106 or a citroen ax but not for a polo which is 100kg heavier, i think the 1.4 60hp is the minimum for it

nice video. thanks from Egypt
I'd say it's not POV, but third-person driving. I think there is somebody in the back seat...
Do you know the fuel consumption for this 1.4 16v?
What I've measured:
City: 9l/100km
Highway: 7l/100km

The engine is really great and fast eventho its only 75hp, however the gearbox is worse
The engine is very reliable
is it spacious for its size?At least in the front? Do you suggest it for first car?

Test drive would be the best option, when I bought this car, I tried it first.
Can I ask what size tyres you have on this car?
185/55, 14”. This is the optimal size for the III. generation of Polos.
This guy is really slow
No, he's just careful.
