This series of events under the Photoville banner are going on for most of June here in nyc These types of things exist all over the place and if not maybe think to start something yourself wherever you are!
Happy to hear about the return of photo ville. It is a great showcase of very diverse group of professional photographers. Thanks for letting everyone know. The last time I attended was in 2019. I am definitely going.
Great overview and interviews...it really is about community and showing up. One of the best things about Photoville is getting to say hi in person to folks who are also out there doing it all year long. Your content, knowledge and enthusiasm are so appreciated, Seth. Congrats on your channel growing...it is so deserved...you help and inspire ALL of us.
I’m actually not a fan of doing theee vlogs but it’s a good way to give people some perspectives on what’s out there I guess. Def gonna try to have some friends on the channel tho
Thank you Seth for the cool video this event looks amazing and that is definitely so so true you inspired me and lots of others for sure . And opened my eyes about lots of things in photography . So Thank you !
Looks like a fun event. That AI topic is definitely going to change things going forward. I'm one of those Adobe stock contributors who has been paid for images used for AI. I appreciate them going about it above board like they do. At first, when it came up, I hesitated, but it's going to be part of the future, like it or not, so we might as well roll with it.
Seth, sorry to pose this rather random question to you under this video, but I thought it might lead to a topic in future video considerations. I'll pose our question first, and then something specific to you. The question came up regarding two topics: 1. Color Space. and 2. bit depth. I'll skip the easy out question (What if you only publish to the web) and try and enlist your help with our thought process. The question comes up (first color space) - that if we are shooting raw, and our monitors only display sRGB, does it make sense to edit in a bigger color space (i.e. ProPhoto or Adobe RGB) if we cannot see it on our screen? When we convert it to JPG and upload it to social media, can't you then experience color shifts? Do you? With your professional work, what color space are you in? and what do most jobs request? Are they going to print media that needs a larger color space? Did magazines like Time/Newsweek Sports Illustrated ask for the larger color space or no? Lastly, what determines what bit depth you use? Above a certain ISO is 14-bit depth adding much? Too much, I know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to go there and create a really nice video about it. maybe next year if we travel east.
Figured a lot of people don’t get a chance to see an event like this so this was the best I could do for you guys to get a sense of it
That’s a great event, thanks for broadcasting

Thanks for sharing Seth!
I didn't know about this event, I'm going to try and get a few friends together and travel up on the last weekend.
Go for it make sure you check where things are happening and what they are
Thanks for sharing the event. Know that I am aware of it, I would make the trip from CA to see it.
It’s more a succession of events over weeks if you check their schedule you can see if it interests you enough to trek to the east coast
This was great, would love to see more walk and talk type videos with you and other creatives.
