Hey I’m just wondering what kind of welding school you went to? Was it a structural and pipe type school or something else? I’m looking into welding schools but not sure if I should go to a community college and take “certificate courses” or a different type of school. What was the name of the school you went too? so I can look them up. I want to do exactly what you do, hope to have my own shop one day. Keep making videos! You haven’t posted in a long time. Keep up the good work, thanks!

So i personally went to a Local community college here in NC, It's honestly personal preference because some companies like to hire employees with degrees and some don't care either way. For Mattco we prefer to see someone either in school or at least have a semester under their belt. That shows us welding is what you want to pursue and also takes out a few months of learning some basics we don't have to worry about getting started. Most all community colleges have welding and machining programs that aren't too expensive to pay for each semester. We unfortunately haven't made any content lately, we were in the middle of shop renovations at our new location when i lost some footage somehow from a GoPro and i just had to stop messing with it to get work done and worry about getting moved in, So we are officially in our new location now and hopefully will get some videos out soon
Thanks so much for tuning in

Thank you so much for replying, yea I just wasn't sure if a community college or an actual welding trade school would be best, because I know those trade schools can be pretty expensive and some of them, their main concern is just to put butts in the seats. I look forward to your new content. Thank you. @@MattcoMetalWorks
