Loved this video Charlotte, something so nostalgic about stockings. I remember the excitement of Christmas morning and my stocking on the end of my bed! X
I still have my stocking from my first Christmas and I'm 30 years old. My mum still puts stocking fillers in it now bless her! Don't change your kids' stockings 🥰xx
What lovely ideas for the stockings, Charlotte. They all seem like affordable items, with a good mix of practical and fun items, and I love how you choose stuff you know your children will really like. I'm always fascinated by your 'satsumas', as we call them mandarins! I would be thrilled to receive one of your stockings on Christmas Day!
Don’t swap there stockings. Full of lovely memories. We are in our 70’s and hubby and I love our new socks etc for Christmas. Also new pj’s Another great vlog xxx
Oh Charlotte I got and now get some of those things for my son who is 24 now ... I like giving them and he likes the tradition of getting them 😃 I agree it is lovely to have something new to wear for Christmas. Lovely vlog.
I love that your son wants to try Jolly Ranchers! Those were a party favor staple growing up here in the US. I still love when my kids get them at Halloween and I can eat a couple. If there is anything he’d like to try and you can’t find I’d be happy to send a box!
My kids are 29 years and 28 years and i still get them socks knickers and 1 outfit to wear for xmas .plus new pjs . I like new underwear on christmas day and im 55. Your children will love those stockings . Take care xx
These are fab! I do myself and my son a stocking lol he's 7 now and he said to me mummy will you get a stocking again this year? I hope you do as you been so good lol x
Loved this Charlotte, really look forward to your festive content. I know you don't want to do a haul but I'd love to see a gift guide. Hope your grandad is OK x
I’m from the US and it’s so funny to me that you got American treats (I’ve actually got the nerds rope to go in my kids stockings) and I’ve picked up some Percy pig treats at Target, they had some cute M&S Christmassy items.
My 8yr old loves fact books. If thr fiction it's usually about mythical creatures. I always put socks and pants in kids stocking aswell as books or colouring books, felt tips, pens, Pencils, things like lip balm, tube sweets, Bath bomb, something fun like slime, choc coins. I use to buy things from poundshop ect that were stocking filler toys aswell but they ended up broken or not used
i dont know if you mentioned it or anyone else asked but where is the first book you showed from the one for your eldest? i think my 9 year old would love it x
Love all your videos Charlotte. Can you please please kindly tell me what you burn in your little incense house. Everything I've tried just smell of smoke. Thank you so so much 💗
You are the sweetest lady. How funny with the deodorant. I’m from the US my sons teacher sent a letter home fir all the students saying they are 11 now and will wear deodorant every day lol. We were surprised she meant business.
I put a whoppee cushion in each of my Children’s stockings a couple of years back, my daughter was about 5 at the time and she shouted “mummy I got a fart in my stocking!” Was hilarious and whenever I think about stockings now I think of that lol. I’m curious though, do your children watch RUclips? If so how do you prevent them seeing this? Especially as they come from Santa xx
I have a son at 30 and one at 27 and a daughter at 27, and I still buy deodorant sets socks pants, underwear sets for my daughter chocolate outfit pyjamas it’s just our tradition but obviously they don’t fit in a stocking anymore so I put them in a Christmas bag and all three of them are really pleased with them every year
Can I ask does Daisy read these books herself or do you read them to her? My daughter is similar age and she would love that book but not sure if she would feel overwhelmed?
Some of the things we put in stockings are dental floss, emery boards, an orange, wrapped candies, and other bits & bobs with the occasional more costly gift that may come in a small package, like a school ring, that we don't want to get lost amidst the larger things under the tree. Once or twice there has been a wrapped lump of coal in the bottom for a disobedient child. LOL.
@@katemiller7874 Well, we did wrap it in cling film and then gave it to someone for actual use who needed coal for a furnace. Do your children get no consequences for their bad behavior? The stocking was full, but there was a lump of coal, yes. And had they been much worse that would have been all that was in it, except for the gifts under the tree. If they were even more dreadful regularly maybe the other gifts would have disappeared. Gifts are benefits of being a good or tolerable participant in family life, taking into account one's age, health, maturity. We had a neighborhood friend who cancelled Halloween one year for her kids. They were so rotten consistently from Labor Day when they went back to school until around Canadian Thanksgiving in mid-October that she warned them and then said she simply was not going to be bothered with their costumes or trick-or-treating and would get candy for visitors to their home only. The kids learned a lesson and as young adults it became a laughable story that was a source of great pride to them that their mother stood firm.
As Charlotte said.. she doesn't want anyone else to feel like they haven't done enough.. everyone has a different budget and everyone does Christmas differently ❤️
@@lucyosullivan1219 A kind suggestion.. but maybe just avoid watching the videos that are titled 'hauls' or 'What I've got my kids for Christmas' if it makes you feel crappy. ❤️

Terrible to put a lump of coal.

Just raided Rex, thanks for the tip x
Well I feel like crap now I have got four kids but they’ve just got £5 worth of shit each from £land for their stockings 😂🙈

If it helps I never got.a stocking as a kid and I don't feel like I missed out.
Your kids will love their stockings. Kids don’t think about or care what things cost . Although I think from the emoji it’s a light hearted comment.
