I'm new to the balance board and what i have been doing is getting into a surf stance an controlling my board by transferring my weight front to back and back to front. I'm able to control the board with my back foot which will help with carving and releasing the rail to make big cutbacks. It will make me a better surfer, no doubt!

Hey poli, the balance board is a great tool for training your balance,but the closest feeling to real surfing you can get with a surfskate for example smoothstar: www.smoothstar.com/?ref=2 So if you want to buy something which is related to surfing then rather get a surfskate.;)

For a begginer use 10 cm diameter.

So now I had time to check the dimensions. Thanks for your patience: The hight of the Board is 77cm and the width is 44cm. So 77x44cm
