I'm 195cm so I'm sure it would be too small for me stock but I've got an opportunity to pick up a nice 454 at a great price. I was thinking about modding it slightly, new fender, thicker solo seat and different handle bars. If the seat were thick enough to raise me up and back a bit and the bars were in between stock and what you've got there, do you think the riding position would be comfortable enough for a bigger guy?
basicly I made the baffles myself, I did something like this (type on ebay: DRAG PIPE EXHAUST BAFFLES FOR ALL MODEL 1 3/4" EXHAUST PIPE BAFFLES I think diameter of the exhaust pipe and the heat wrap matters too. I used 60mm diameter stainless steel pipe. good luck!
Just bought myself a tin, thanks for tip, I think it may be some time before i do any painting because iv just noticed that all the coolant has drained into the sump of the engine, im thinking its either the pump seals or head gasket : (
@@LeeHoMusic That's sick. My original seat was torn bad, missing chunks and had a weird strong smell. I got rid of it with no second thoughts lol. Cheers
Hi there, Very High Temperature Paint up to 650 degrees (Simonz)-spray can. Remember to spray very thin coat first, than spray another coats (2-3) and dry with hair dryer (follow the instructions on the can). This is what I did. Any questions just ask. Good luck!
I made the seat off the original shell. Basicly I cut off what I thought was necessary, bought a leather jacket from charity shop for few quid and used the leather to cover it.
I've been looking for a good sound for my bike and I do believe I just found it. AWESOME sound for my '89 454. Thanks man.
Dear camera guy, you had one job 😂
exhaust made myself with baffle in it, didn't re-jet it and it is fine, in reality sounds really deep and bass, You wouldn't say it is 450cc bike.

How did you adapt your Harley Fuel Injection so that you can adjust the idle without having to use a Fuel Management program?
Just bought myself a Kawasaki EN450 to restore, yours looks fantastic! what paint did you use on the engine?
what was the length of the struts you made to replace the shocks in back, thanks!
