- Finally, we got back from our Russian expedition! Well actually it is not so easy to describe all that we had discovered, but it was an insane trip with a dose of adrenaline! After landing by plane straight away jumping into monster truck and driving 17hours by terribly bad forest roads then jumping in the heavy loaded jet boats leading by heavy rain, strong wind, motor sound, shot guns, freezing body, vodka and disappearing somewhere deep in Russian wilderness... High water level in the river, bad weather, moving boats, difficult filming conditions witch made our fishing really tough! But any way we got our rods banded by the fish we came here for. TAIMEN! This fish blows away all this extreme you go through when it is in the end of your fly line! Full film you can find here vimeo.com/1966...

it looks like rivers were in flood just about lot of water was this in russia rather than in mongolia rember watching the trout bums videos on mongolia they never started getting much till they put big flies on what they classed as big flies back home were nothing when came to catching the river wolf this looked like one bad ass fishing trip well done lads

Thanks Makcim! We don't have enough material for the full version so we decided to go back and continue filming in the end of the summer, I think we going to release the film next year ;)

Could you tell, which camera was used to shoot this video? What are the lenses? Have you used stabilizers or other additional equipment?
+wesler 1986 we used sony fs 700 ,sony ax 100 ,Dji inspire 1, some go pro's and we couldn't use any additional equipment because of the weight limit
