Please excuse the sloppy playing. It's not easy to play for 20 minutes (total) and not be repetitive while staying away from copyrighted material because everything sounds a little like something else. These clips are in no way meant to show off my meager guitar skills but to show the basic sounds of the profiles in this pack. I am just trying to show a variety of chords, single note lines, different pickups, etc.

Came for the profiles, stayed for the playing. Those were some marvelous riffs, god damn. That one at 5:48 made me dive right back into my childhood. Just brilliant.
The new pack sounds phenomenal, Michael. But that was a given. I’m absolutely blown away by how good they FEEL under the fingers. You’ve outdone yourself this time - no easy feat!

I bought this pack a few years back. I just recently got a powered kemper. Any of these merged or DI? Can I use them just turn off the cab?
Excellent rigs, and playing skills ! Got the packs, I am curious to see the new presets and performances.
Are these profiles still dialed in to work well live? Love your old stuff when it is cranked through a PA. Thanks!
Yes, they are. As with any profile, if they're too bright at higher volumes, just roll back on Definition a bit to see if it smooths out. I have used many of these profiles live. Some always work better than others for me, but they aren't quite as "dark" at lower volumes as Pack 1, but if anything they might need minor adjustments on Definition
how will these profiles sound in a room, i.e through a guitar cab? Or can i only expect these sounds as 'direct' sounding only?
They are dialed in to sound good direct through a p.a. or into a DAW. I think they sound great in my Valvetrain in the room and I've been turning monitor cab off and using the imprints since they came out. Really opens it up
I use them thru a regular guitar cab with cabs turned off and they sound great. I’m a home guitarist and do not have a monitor type thing set up.

Really interested to know how do you maintain such a CLEAN signal even when you're using Strat on positions 1-3-5 or tele. Are you using Noiseless pickups? Or does your room has some kind of separate voltage power path?
Great question! Most of my single coil guitars have dummy coils in them. I have the Ilitch Electronics trem cover backplate dummy coils on my 2 Xotic strats, Red Anderson with P90's and a dummy pickguard on the Xotic tele. Go to www.ilitchelectronics.com/ to learn more about them. I swear by them for single coils with no noise. I've tried tons of noiseless pickups but I much prefer this solution.

Sounds great as always! Is all the reverb from the profiles or have you added some after? I hear a nice room reverb on some profiles. Cheers!
Thomas Rundström all reverb is from Kemper.
Mbritt and BM profiles is all i need, got too much profiles of them. For my taste the new pack sounds like the other packs, nothing spacially. I have now enough

I didn't use IR. I use the Kemper's studio profiles, so the CAB is part of the profile. Advice? use what makes you sound like you want to sound. :)
Hope the typical Status Quo sound of the Vox ac30 from Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt from the seventies are in it also....😀😀😀😀

How are you recording?
XLR main outs of Kemper into Apollo 8 interface into ProTools. No eq, compression, etc.
What is the CA profile modeled after?
CA OD is a custom audio od100 and the CA trip is a carol ann tripR
What model do you use for monitor speakers?
at my computer desk I use M-Audio M3-8 speakers. I usually monitor my Kemper through a Valvetrain Powertrain 50MB, but I also have a Kemper Kab (unpowered) to check things too.
I know I'm late to the game here. But, is what we are hearing the Kemper cab? Sounds great by the way.
