I don’t care for a house that so much decor that it looks cluttered. Last week I told you that it was like spring here but today its 44 (cold for us in South Texas) and rainy. Hi Amy, I Love your home. Love all of your decorations. My home is built in 1933, so I can't really do Farmhouse decor its out of the period of the home. I'm from Rochester, NY. I recently discovered that there is Kirlands here in our area I will have to take a peek at the store once the holidays are over. I watched your Christmas tour and love all the smaller trees you have set around. I am trying to duplicate them throughout our house. I am anxious to see your Valentines & Easter.

Your home is very lovely and serene and well decorated. A small filming tip would be that I personally feel it would be better to say “our living room” or “our mantle - our fireplace” rather than saying “my this and that”. You seem to have sweet marriage stories and wedding touches, but by always saying I, me and my seems to leave your husband out of most of the decisions and probably a lot of the purchases that were made. Just a tip from someone married 45 years and counting. Happy New Year 2021 to all !

Your home looks a lot like mine with the neutral colors. Our stairs look exactly like yours use to look. How did you paint the balusters? Did you have to sand them first? Did you use an oil or water based paint? I love the look of yours and would like to paint mine as well. Thanks! Also, what is the name of the brand and paint color you used?
Hi DJ!!! We lightly sanded them, added a primer then followed up with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Navajo white. It’s the emerald paint urethane trim enamel!! It is great paint!! We have it also on our kitchen cabinets!!! Is pricey but well worth it!! Make sure to get it when it’s 40% off!! It’s water based. Thanks for watching and have a blessed day!!!
