Thank you SO MUCH for showing swatches of each technique! As I try to learn more about dyeing, I’m trying to figure out what techniques will lead to what type of pattern on the fabric, and you are the only RUclipsr I’ve found so far who shows actual swatches of your colorway, and it is so helpful.

The swatches are critical to tailoring your dye application to match the project you're dyeing for. I believe nobody else is doing these because it's so many added hours of work with zero pay.

Love this so much I never would have though of mixing purple pop with bright aqua like that it makes a beautiful indigo. I always use your recipe to achieve the more even version of purple pop using the xtreme blue and fluorescent fuschia the results are so much better when dyeing a solid skein, without the breaking, then using the actual dye. U have the best dye info it’s always so helpful and appreciated

Your videos are full of so much incredible information, thank you for sharing your knowledge!! You inspired me to try dyeing for myself over covid lockdown times (and that's when I discovered I am pretty allergic to superwash merino 👎👎). It was super fun though!!

    Is the yarn pre-mordanted?

At 1:52 I talk about mordant and dye strike. While soaking the acid is in the water.
