The sisters were children at the time and Geto was still a high schooler. Geto was enraged by the mistreatment and killed all the villagers and burnt down the place. Due to the mas murders, Geto was labelled as dangerous, etc. I think he raised the girls later on, the author never went into the lore. I think this happened in Season 2
Love this! Although I wish you'd add the scene where he asked satoru about his family after he was defeated by yuta. It's a subtle scene but shows great depth of how geto really cared about his family

I felt bad for Nanako and Mimiko. After Geto's death, they gained hope that he would come back to life. But Kenjaku changed everything.
