Absolutely loved following Carl Froch's career. From pretty early on you could see he was going to go much further than domestic level and the way he was calling out Calzaghe so early on showed he has some stones on him! Genuinely deserves this, proved his level time and time again and just no bullshit with fights not getting made. Truly fought all comers and always took the toughest fights available. If every boxer had Froch's attitude the sport would be booming. Congrats Carl Froch 👏 👏 👏 👏

Carl's list of back to back world class opponents was ridiculous and his fights with Taylor, Kessler, Bute, Pascal and Groves were legendary barnburners. Carl's legacy will age like a fine wine because his ability to deliver exciting fights plus his quality of opposition is right up there with anyone of recent times for me.

Great speech, well deserved. I travelled out to Connecticut to be ringside at the Taylor fight. Was sat next to Allan Green, Nate Campbell and Paulie all cheering Taylor on and just me and my pal shouting for Carl even if we were working that night. Amazing win

Carl Froch an absolute legend in my eyes, I boxed a few times with Carl on the same show at the regency rooms Ilkeston, even back then he was well regarded, but as a pro he's in my top 5 fighters of all time, hard as nails, a proper fighter, never ducked anyone Brilliant
Was and always be one of my favourite fighters of all time. Was not the best technical fighter, but he had an engine for days, a granite chin, heart, and could knock any fighter out anytime in the fight. Well done, champ.
@MikeOcksmells definitely underrated, but a world level which I was on about he would fall short. But his heart, stamina, and chin would carry him through. Unless its ward. But I agree with you definitely underrated as a boxer. He's other attributes were just far better than his boxing skills 👍

Technically he was underated .You don't walk Groves onto a one punch Ko without a lot of skill behind it .
