Now I truly believe that Seun knows what he's talking about. When he started talking about freedom as a mindset and the analogy with school affairs, it reminded me of how I was ready to fight a lecturer back then when he took my answer sheet and squeezed it threatening a carry-over. We traded words and I left him at the hall because I had written enough in that exam. He started targeting me in subsequent papers trying to find a fault so that he can rationalize what he did on that day. When he found that I was really prepared, he knew that it would ultimately lead to our visiting the school tribunal, which I had originally dared him to do. Somehow when the results came out, that paper he squeezed was there as well and I passed! All this was in my final year exam (2nd semester). Because I wouldn't budge, he respected me. Till today, we are ok with each other. And that's freedom. True story.

Seun I really appreciate your efforts to sensitised our brainwashed citizens of Nigeria with your wisdom about colonialism. I knew that failures will be the order of day when they did their best to removed history from our school curriculum. The colonialism started just immediately after the disintegration of Romans Empire that destroyed themselves by immorality within the circle of the kingdom. Then they decided to formed European Union community without being together as one nation, but divided according to their tribal lineage. Our freedom is not free. Nigeria youths please listen carefully to this man Seun. This is the best history teacher you can ever learn from and imagine in Nigeria for now because those people born in 1999 has no foundation or political basics to grow as a child. The evil politicians who promised changed backed then, are still the same sets of people subjugating Nigerians into abject poverty. What a shame.

Those who says the truth always without compromise or favors most of the time in their generation are always misunderstood, vilified, rejected, abused, cursed, ostracised, jailed, mocked and all manners of ills done to them but always at last it has never failed, they are always immortalized, revered and held in high esteem either in their later years or when they journey to the world beyond. Also, the British switched from importing slaves to enslaving people on their own land (colonialism) because of the several uprisings by the enslaved in places like Haiti. They knew it was only a matter of time before enslaved Black people in the Americas and Caribbean successfully overthrew the slave masters.
