Although that may be bc I don’t read the super unhinged fics, but even some dead dove fics I’ve read have had very respectful comments (even if the content of that comment is “wow, I love how psychologically tormented he was at the end of this chapter, keep it up!”)

So funny thing about e621 comments: They're actually pretty well moderated, unlike Rule 34 comments where people just shoot rp requests and be overly perverse. You actually have to have some semblance of decency on e6. Also, there's a place on the site where you can see where the comments that got banned and the mod notes as to why. So if you're every bored, there's a way to spend your afternoon

As someone who actually read Batman comics, I am incline to agree. Paul Dini created her to ship with the Joker, but all of the other writers treated her like a henchwoman with a completely one-sided crush & kept shacking her up with Poison Ivy. & then Dini would always be the one to drag her back, only for the other writers to seperate them again.
I love when Paul Dini said let me ship my OC with the Joker, and nearly everyone else said no. One of my favorite moments in comics history next to that petty guy who rigged the poll to kill Jason Todd.

The hilarious part of e6 is the fact the rules for commenting are *super crazy* strict. Being a little too horny on that site comment section is a death sentence, for the reason of not becoming self-destructive, which is why a lot of the comments are either very meme-y or very civil. There's no room for roleplay, so we're all just sad, lonely furries all enjoying a single piece of art, and that is a very funny image to think about, which is what brings out the "But can you rephrase that in the King's English" comment thread.

The moderation of E6 is hilariously inconsistent. We've seen a lot of people get banned for stupid reasons. however, one of the people i saw was banned, with 30,000+ comments across nearly the entire website, and the ban note just says "Banned at moderator's discretion". None of his comments are particularly odd or out of character. He wasn't compromised to my knowledge and nothing's wrong with his account.
Permanent ban.
Yet the 'cheese grater incident' is perfectly allowed.
WARNING: It should also be noted that there is literally a "Child" tag on E621, which disgusts me greatly, but i can't exactly do anything about where i view NCS artist's animations early.
I have no idea what i look at on this website, but i swear the longer i see it the further i stray from god, if he's even still watching at this point

E621 is quite a site really, has even tho 99% of the people use it has a porn site; it's objetive use is more like an "storage of all furry drawings and 3D models" which is quite good if you're looking for references of drawing someone's character. And in a perfect world; the way to evade porn would be by deselecting the tags, but sometimes the app decides to activate them again or not flag some really questionable stuff...
