Forget dlc, fix the base game now! Bugs galore. Players getting stuck on trees and in bushes, falling through the map, blood trails despawning after a few minutes, kills despawning and can't be collected. This game was rushed out half baked. No man's sky all over again.

To be frank, I do not wish my favorite hunting game die by the hands of people who fetishize nature and hold rancor against 120,000 years of human history for its sharp contrast to our current standard of living, so perhaps not having elephants is for the best.

The animals from this map should be: Helmeted Guineafowl African Pygmy Goose White-faced whistling duck Springbok Blue Wildberbeest Red Hartebeest Eland Gembosk Sable Antelope Greater Kudu Cape Buffalo African Bush Elephant White Rhino Giraffe Cape Hippo Lion Leopard Nile Crocodile Warthog Bushpig Plains Zebra. As rifles should be: .177 Air rifle for the birds at long range. 375H&H - For lions, zebras, crocs, greater kudu, cape buffaloes, hippos, giraffes and plains zebra for long range. .416 Rigby - for lions, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes and elephants at long range. 500 Jeffrey - for Cape Buffaloes, elephants, hippos, rhinos at long range. 500 Nitro Express - for the same animals in the case of 500 Jeffrey but at short range. 600 and 700 Nitro Express - only for elephants, rhinos and hippos at short range.
I'm at that point right now and listened to the dialogue until the end, but then suddenly I can't continue with the main quest. do I have to do anything? I now have an empty log book
Sadly with all the bugs this game is having ( At launch date , right off the bat ) its not playable right now. Was liking the game and storyline at first but the blood trail despawning after two minutes and tracking a shot animal is just killing the game. Until they fix these and several other bugs I will be shelving this game and going back to COTW. The basic of the game is scout, shoot, TRACK and COLLECT animals to get money and experience. When you can't track and find your kill then you get no money or xp, defeats playing the game.

Hollywood not being collected is a known bug that they say they are working on, along with blood trails and kills despawning. I'm shelving this game till its playable. But to answer your question, yes as of now you have to start over.
