PATOCHE That is actually something that is consistent with the original game. Since this game clearly uses the original engine (somewhat lazily) it has all the quirks that come with it. I haven't played this but from what I've seen it looks like they've handled this completely wrong. The devs have almost entirely butchered this game. Daytona USA 2 was more innovative than this.

Not exactly. Daytona's layout is Three Seven's, albeit with an environment more akin to the real Daytona's.
Stage 3 is if sea side street and skyscraper had a baby, but it is more on sea side streets side
