She has not release any album since 2012 and only singles in OST (2014 & latest 2018) but not performing anymore until recently in Sugarman 2 last year and now. She has been an artiste for 19 years but not as a singer. :) Many Koreans are also hoping to see Jang Nara the Singer which was why her return on Sugarman 2 last year was such a big thing.

Also that expectation people had of her also led to her having stage fright as she struggled to balance singing and acting in both China and Korea... Due to her busy schedule she has always felt that she was unprepared, and being a perfectionist, she pressured herself harder until in 2012, she suddenly felt breathless when she stood on stage and looked at the crowd... Since then she stopped singing professionally and recorded only singles at times. That disability to sing crushed her confidence and she has been struggling to get back since... 2017 was worst when she felt that her acting was not improving and she was again disappointing people... so even now despite the many awards she received, she still sees herself falling short of expectations... it’s a sad thing but she is slowly stepping out and trying to sing again openly when the occasion calls for it but not professionally...

YamieX she is always the best for me no matter what...i love jang nara...she is kinda shy...her humbleness and being so kind makes me love her even more...she has a beautiful happy family...i dont know why but i find her so cute and adorable...in 2017 she won best actress for goback couple and best couple too with son ho jun...and in 2018 she won top excellence award for best actress in the last empress...her song sweet dream is an unforgetable one...im not korean but i love this song...its an iconic song for me.
