This is a really wonderful conversation! Thank you for helping us get to know Blake Foster. I could easily watch this one twice.
Concerning the mind as it tries to figure out the psychedelic experience within the moments of any journey: I find it is less about deducing exact answers to our questions and more, now, about being able to witness questions we do ask. Taking note of what my questions are helps me to become aware of a particular mode of thinking in asking existential questions in the first place. However, speculation about "What's really going on, here," haha--or a meaningfulness we decide to attribute as an interpretation of our own psychedelic experiences can serve as very satisfying food-for-thought🍉as we all try our best to figure out this Earth school!
I really enjoyed all the talk of Blake's art as well as about the paints, techniques and skills he's learned. Way to go!

Great conversations covering so many topics! One of the deep thoughts discussed I couldn't help but to remember a line I had heard in a move that we are both the dream and the dreamer. I really like Blake's art and breaking down a lot of geometric shapes and putting it into art. All these talks help me to explore my own art expressions. In regards to the AI generated photos I had just done one for the first time this evening and then had this idea, "oh hey I will try to paint this." So is that kinda cheating? I really love my own art and like to hang on to it. I know with impermanence it should not matter but all my drawings take me a lot more time than a very skilled artist which I guess makes it more valuable to me. I usually can construct art from an image but harder to do it without looking at anything. I'm a part time artist. Heh heh. Anyways, blessings friends and really enjoyed the show. Sound quality was good.

That was a great listen! Blake's art is great as well. What's funny is we're right around the same age, and I also went to an expensive ass animation school I just recently finished paying for! 😂Just wanted to say that with oils and acrylics while the minerals that are used for the pigments are the same and are toxic if ingested in both situations, the big bad with oils isn't the oil but the solvents you use for thinning or cleaning the brushes. Any of the turpentine/turpenoid/mineral spirits kind of solvents have fumes that are really bad for your nervous system. That's actually how many oil painters have ended up poisoning themselves over the years without proper ventilation.

Super powerful episode! Here's my question for you Chris and Blake! If you were swimming in the nothingness for billions of years waiting for the creation dream to birth whatever we could desire what would it be!? I'd desire to be incarnate in this form even just for a short time, for a moment of love, a deep exploration of all that is and share it in conversation with linguistics, to see with the eyes of beauty and be beautiful and live with community with a heart full of love a mind full of divine inspiration and to hug and kiss and paint every moment with these hands! Bless you all your days so grateful

Could it be that what was gravitated was the original desire and it's kinetic energy creates multiple dimensions as it branches out from its source with electromagnetic flow holding the vision and vibrational frequency collective allowing that to travel on waves across space and time non linear

Gosh I love his art and this conversation! I feel like I say that about every episode, it's true!!!
I was so intrigued by the talk of his techniques and I'm exploding with ideas. We have so many arbitrary rules, but why? To keep us boxed.?
It's all so fascinating; to try new concepts and experiment! Thank you! Much love! 🌼🫶✌️
