Keep your head up Dan. You know you’re doing all that you can .. you go out of your way for these sweet babies.. and you love every one of them way more than you need to. Don’t beat yourself up love.. much love and these dogs respect you ammensly
❤️❤️. Those pups would have nothing without you, keep up the good work. You didn’t end his life, you gave him a fresh start to a new one where nothing can go wrong. He’s playing ball in puppy heaven and smiling that big dorky bully smile❤️. You do an amazing job.
This is the hardest part of rescue, the part that devastates the heart and soul. Some dogs are broken and can’t be fixed. There are some who have conditions that can’t be fixed. You cannot responsibly foster or adopt a dog like Arthur when he can’t be trusted. You are so right, how would you live with him killing or injuring an innocent person. I met Arthur and he was lovely BUT there was something that wasn’t right. You’ve given him the gift of peace, something he’s probably never had. People watching can play the ‘what if’ but at the end of the day it had to be about Arthur and what was best for him. You have been baptized by fire into the world of rescue. The dogs who come into your care are so very lucky ♥️ Arthur was lucky to find his way to you. Chin up, heart open and battle on ♥️♥️♥️
You did everything you could kiddo and he had no quality of life for the future. Bulldogs are the worst thing we have done to that species, and they have nothing but health issues. You tried your best, but some dogs cant be fixed and that is not your fault. hang in there kiddo, this is the hardest part of this job, but it is a part of it.
Keep your head up bro. You're doing a great job. Don't be so hard on yourself!
Miss you man.
Today was hard.
