If you or your company is unknown it doesn't matter how good is your product, very few will buy it, not enough to grow your business. So you need tremendous effort to introduce your product through ads etc. and it must stand out from all competition. But if you already have a well known brand name or your name in itself is already a label then that one key element of success is already there.

It's a huge advantage for people who have other funds and sources of income to support their growing business until it becomes stable and profitable. It takes a few years for most businesses to become stable and start making progress.

true but the difference is AJ Dee left quietly without burning bridges. Liza and her management haven't proven anything yet. Life is full of choices, good and bad. But she can't deny the fact that ABS and Ogie made her a household name. Time will tell if she can make it in Hollywood. Others have tried but they ended up returning to the Philippines.
