After watching your first video I knew I found a binge channel. You guys are awesome and make it look real. Well made swing Travis. You should be super proud of the swing.
Starting to get a line on the individual priorities - Steph "can I eat it?" and Travis 'save me a bed at the hospital' when one of those critters takes the initiative LOL!!! The swing was a work of art and the lifestyle the stuff of dreams.
I stared following you two last week. My wife and I are an older cruising couple(60). I love the sense of wonder, your banter and you in the galley and Travis’ ability to work through mechanical issues. Like my Canadian relatives I consider you, endearing, funny knuckleheads. On the surface that doesn’t sound complimentary. I assure you it is. Your journey inspires me to keep the journey going. Cheers!
Awesome swing. I hope it's still there when we go. Also, Stephanie looked like a Bond Girl coming out of the water with her dive gear on 😀.....oh, and no more snakes on the boat 😄
Nice. Just finding the stuff for the swing, and then making it. Fantastic. I’ve seen the deserted resort before on a RUclips clip. It was to have been such an amazing resort. You gave a better tour than the one I saw. Very interesting. I do enjoy all the history you give us on your journey. And the food looked amazing. 👍👍
@@SailingJibsea your cooking and imagination in a sailboat galley is amazing. Not to bad in a bikini either lol Still waiting on your guy to wear one. Lol
Pretty nice to see a couple from Canada with such great content. No shortage of RUclips sailing channels and your is definitely among the best. Your narrating and editing are top notch and make your adventures very entertaining to watch, so thanks! One question; what year is your Hunter?
Found yall on RUclips about a month ago and loving every bit of it... I'm glad that you are enjoying my homeland! - Looking forward to see what else you discover. #242totheworld #lovingmybahamaland
Great episode. Terrific job on the swing and good timing on the whipped cream plus tip as my wife just made some whipped cream for the first time just a few days ago. You keep feeding the skipper like that and he isn't going to have a flat stomach for long. Lol.
Nice job on the swing but for the pancakes..........you're Canadian, either do I, so where's the maple syrup? Just find your channel and you are great. Cheers from Québec
@@SailingJibsea If it's available in the Bahamas, it must be out of price. In Martinique is way to expensive so I do smuglling when I visit friends :O) Cheers and fair winds
Great video, really enjoyed the information you gave. Excellent job on the swing, nice to leave something behind. We need to have a bikini cooking show, that looked sooo good.
Hey guys, do you remember which beach on Crab Cay did you guys build the swing. I'm going to try and find it when I head down there in a few days. - ReyInThe6ix
Thanks. And yeah, hopefully they find investors to finish it. There was so much money and work put into it. Looked like they even put a concrete plant right on the island and just tons of material left everywhere.
Awesome! Love the videos, keep them coming. Quick question about your water maker... Looks like you went with the seawater pro, is it the 12vdc unit? How much power does it draw. How large is your battery bank? Would you do anything differently now that you have had it for a few months? Thanks
Thanks! We got the 110v unit, single membrane. It draws 900 amps and we have a 1000amp battery bank. We don’t want to put such a heavy load on the batteries so we bought an inexpensive generator to run the Watermaker off of. We wouldn’t do anything differently and absolutely love it
As wild as the winds have been in Florida the last couple of weeks I hope you guys aren't white-knuckling it too bad out there in island paradise. Soon it'll be time to start heading north again.
It hasn’t been too bad for us! And wow time just flies by doesn’t it, hope it warms up for you as quick as you guys move north and none of those freezing nights we had heading down near the Chesapeake!
It will be a couple more weeks before we start so hopefully we don't run into that kind of cold. We can go just fast enough to surf the season change so it isn't too cold or too hot either. There are still many neat places we haven't seen on the trip, even after having done it a number of times.
@@SailingJibsea I'm sorry for my comment. Just my personal opinion. I'm sure you guys know what is best for your relationship. Just weird to me how formal ya'll speak to each other. Almost like ya'll aren't really that comfortable with each other.
we actually think we’re the total opposite of formal with each other lol and try living on a boat with someone 24/7 - doesn’t get any more comfy than that! 🤣
best sailing channel ever!

Lmao! One of our friends on a buddy boat said the same thing about that line. And thank you!
Ok a goddess walks out of the water and you say wow look at those clouds?

Your both very talented! Crepes, and all the killer recipes, then that most decorative swing. Im sure other sailors will be enjoying it for years!😊💕
Thank you very much! We hope it lasts a while!!

Love your tan, Stephanie.
So impressed by that swing! Amazing what you can build with some stuff lying around on the beach!

One letter of the alphabet missing from the swing dedication X
Thanks for the wiped cream gelantine tip-off.

Hey it was right outside the abandoned resort with the huge tiki hut!
@@SailingJibsea sweet we gonna try and find it when we go there.

What brand reef shoes does Travis have?
He doesn’t have reef shoes. We both have a pair of Vibrams we use to walk in water/outdoors

Just one leeeetle question: who the heck ever has leftover whipped cream?
Touché 😂😂
Where is the swing located
Crab cay cove anchorage. Opposite red shanks anchorage
@@SailingJibsea omg thanks stay safe

yeah, had such big plans, seems like they're forever trying to find more investors for it, so who knows, maybe one day

Ya'll speak really formal to each other and never refer to each other with any terms of endearment.
Its all scripted 😂 or maybe we just keep certain things for us. 🤷🏼♀️ 🤷🏼♂️
