This is honestly really impressive, it was super easy to get this achievement with old rooster because it would spawn same level chicks (and, well, rooster was pretty busted) so doing it on current rooster is really impressive Haha he read a comment like 2 minutes in that was this exact thing
If you have to take a Spider early, I suggest putting honey on it, especially if you can get it to level 2 quickly. Instead of just hoping you get a turtle or a sheep, all of a sudden 6/6 kangaroo and 6/2 ox with melon are on the table. Even the dog gets a slight buff so you've got about a 50/50 shot of not just a useless 2/2 being spit out.
I think it's not worth it, you'd have to spend 9 gold to reach level 2, 3 gold for honey and 1 gold for a pill just to maybe get an half decent team member, all while having enough luck to get all that from the shop. Spiders are not good, not even in dog/shark builds because the pay off is so low for all the gold you need to scale it
It’s really fun to have the suspense of not knowing if you are gonna get the win or not. I think when you finally do you shouldn’t put it in the title so that we can keep the suspense through each video
Penguin, for its tier and ability scaling, is literally the single best unit in the entire game of super auto pets (if it were, say, t6, it wouldn't be as broken), and ludwig is constantly on copium on behalf of his own team to ever think they're not immediately replaceable
its actually disgusting how good penguins are. Complete dogshit runs are saved by rolling a penguin. Getting a penguin on level up is literally a free win. NL reckons that the freetoplay meta is in a terrible place right now and I couldn't agree more. Its literally just scaling and summons you win if your scaling is higher than them, which is luck, or you win by going turkey fly tiger, which is boring.
One of his biggest issues is thinking that once he has his first chick, that chicken + pill is worthless. Perfect example 45:28 to 45:40 he skipped 2 chickens and 2 pills. If he froze the pills and chicken, presuming he rolled that second chicken with the different shop state and froze that too. That's 8 gold for a lvl 2 chick which is only 2 gold more than 2 chocolate, and infinitely easier and more common to get. But he just completely ignores chickens the second after he pills the first one for the chick.
I have to disagree; to attempt that maneuver you'd have to have an additional empty slot for rooster pilling. Though this could work with llama. However, to freeze a pill and look for a rooster would literally halve your odds for a chocolate which makes it immediately not worth it as it accomplishes the same goal. The only situation in which this would be optimal is if you played llama and froze roosters in shop for when pills come around. Though I don't think llama is ideal for a chick win, but if you got rng force fed llamas that could be a winning play. But hey I don't know much so take it with a grain of salt.

If you lost the previous round and a snail is summoned by the spider (or by whale or mushroom I guess), it should still buff the remaining pets on your team.

I have played like 100h and gotten sloth 3 times. I even got it within like the first 20 hours in consecutive days :D I didn't even realize how rare it was and didn't take it the first time.
I'm getting close to 200 hours played and have seen it 3 times, one of them was in versus. Luckily it was versus against my twitch chat and I railed them with a level 3 sloth lmao

Now I'm even more confused. For the longest time I thought NL was using term "bacta" as in "bacteria". It wasn't til two days ago that I learned he is referring a Bacta-tank from Star Wars as an analogy for a frozen shop pet mixed with a dromedary. But now Ludwig is referring to the bacteria as bacta and I'm lost all over again. Is Ludwig just dumb like me and is misunderstanding his idol NL's terminology?
The reason chicks are spawned as level 1, unlike the rams which can be spawned as the respective level, is because roosters don't get any stat buffs when being upgraded and the amount of chicks spawned changes. The sheep and cricket spawn level 2 and 3s because they have different stats when being spawned.
I was thinking, if you had (in this order left to right) ox, weak unit, badger, then when the badger dies, it kills the weak unit and I hypothesize that the ox will trigger twice for both the badger and weak unit

I am always struggling for chocolate though when I try this challenge... I seem to have worse luck than an nft guy who tries to sell his life choices to his family.
Hey Lud, just to let you know that Arena isn't "live". It takes a random team from the same round as you from a pool. Meaning just because you won on your screen doesn't mean they lost on theirs and vice versa. I don't know how long a team stays in this pool but its unlikely you are matching with too many view while live.
Green ladybug doesn't do enough unless you do specific builds and red ladybug is a poisoned apple of falling off eventually but you accidentally keep buying food for it so if you don't win fast you drop
I know he probably doesn’t wanna hear another backseat Andy, but I kinda felt like he wasn’t taking advantage of Cans. Like Cans are kinda better than food, especially since Cans can buff up a rooster before he found one, then the chick would inherit half of the attack of the rooster.

You don't have to overcomplicate it for the sloth. If you ever get a sloth, you can just start recording, and if you get a sloth win, you can upload it. And if you stop play SAP, you can just tell vod frogs you still haven't seen one and that why we haven't seen it. Hopefully vodwin continues. It doesn't need to have a consistent goal, if you're at a point where recording these is non-stress (or maybe not from the sloth comments), you can pretty much play whatever you want, even if it's just that you want to play a game of chess or pokemon, or battleships.
What about trying for a level 3 hatching chick, I think he does plus 1 xp in front of him right? I havnt gotten the paid yet, but you could use that for sloth if you get lucky enough to find him. I've found him thrice but never could get the level 3 win.

yeah, but with the bee, you can get it sooner and have the option of pilling your units with honey once youre done with them for easier lvl ups
