Public urged to exercise caution when handling animals to prevent zoonotic diseases

Members of public have been urged to exercise caution when handling animals and animal products, especially during the current rainy season, in order to reduce the risk of contracting zoonotic diseases like Rift Valley Fever whose likelihood of an outbreak is very high in the current weather conditions.
