Did you do a binding stitch?

Could you please advise about the dimensions of the stitching? Is it the same size as the clutch or slightly smaller? Trying to figure out a piece to purchase to make my own and I’m. It sure what size to get. Thanks!

I made several prototypes and found these measures to work the best. It's measured in rows to ensure it is a precise as possible.
If you are glueing, you will want your canvas in the following dimensions:
      18 Mesh - 130 rows x 80 rows
      13 Mesh - 94 rows x 58 rows
(Outside two rows on each side will not show on the front.)
If sewing, you want your canvas in the following dimensions:
      18 Mesh- 127 rows x 78 rows
      13 Mesh- 92 rows x 56 rows
The insert board will need to be 6.65x3.9 and there are additional tips in the captions.
      Hope this helps! :)

    What is the board material?

Typically I will use uncut matboard. It can be found in a variety of colors at Michaels for about $8 for a poster board size
