Okay, so, after watching more Aiko videos, I have come to absolutely adore this girl. She's way too talented to be an Idol. I have no idea what she plans to do after she graduates SG in March, but she has the potential to go far. I will always support her.
"Tension" is one of those loanwords that doesn't mean the same thing in Japanese as it does in English. In Japanese it means "excitement" or "energy", which makes Hana's saying it in such a lowkey tone that much funnier.

I like Megumi, but I have a lot of respect for Aiko too: an amazing singer and personality. Pity she graduates next March. Very few SG girls get five years -- just her, Rinon, Yui, and Moa so far, I think. However, I wonder if Aiko really _doesn't_ like Megumi (Megu's 8 months older but Aiko has seniority), or if it's more like a Moa/Yui competitiveness thing.
She is certainly unique looking. I wouldn't say ugly, but she is not a beauty by any normal standards for sure. She is very strange looking, and it's kind of funny, because when they said her scary face looked like the mask you'd get in hawaii or something, that was pretty accurate. At times she looks, at least in the face, far older than she is. But she's got a lot of talent for sure.
@@grimmseti - Kind of. Aiko was happy Megumi joined Sakura Gakuin but also sees her as a rival because Megu is taller, older, smarter, prettier… (but less talented). How can anyone be honest with a girl like her? They fought and made up constantly. As for Aiko, _of course_ she's emotionally immature. She's a teenager.

True, Aiko is not conventionally pretty. But that's what I love about her. She doesn't _need_ to be because she has *_pure raw talent_* on her side.

Aiko is a real-life _tsundere._ She actually likes Megu a lot but shows it by being a jerk to her most of the time.
