The song is GREAT. Really happy for these girls-talent, songwriting is A+. I do recommend everyone check out their older records and EPs. This new record is not the only great record they have. Very excited people are finding out about them.
Don't worry girls Tegan and Sara already carved a path for acceptance here in Canada and plus music is universal. I'm a 38 year old straight guy and Edge Of The Earth I connect with more than any song on the record. Much love Beaches ❤️
I found out Rob Halford had a sexual preference different than mine way back in the eighties when yes I had homophobia....I decided It was all about the MUSIC not your sexual preferences in your personal life....JUDAS PRIEST still rocks and so do THE BEACHES!!!🎉💖💝💘💓
I heard The Beaches for the first time at the Greta Van Fleet concert at WinStar in Oklahoma on 8/8/2024, and I became an instant fan. Edge of the Earth is one of my favorites, and it on frequent rotation on my playlist now. My 84-year-old Mom attended that concert with me, and she also said she enjoyed The Beaches. You have two big fans thanks to you opening for GVF! Keep up the great work and keep rocking! :) Hope to see you in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area soon!
I'm conservative Christian and edge of the world is my favorite song on the whole album. This entire work is so authentic and vulnerable. It's a beautiful piece of work
You girls can play and sing about anything you want and you be you. Just love your rock stuff like blame Brett, grow up tomorrow, blow up, want what you've got!
You ladies are simply amazing, what a path you are blazing! Keep up the amazing work!!! I keep saying it, mark my words, you will be as big as The Tragically Hip!!
respect for representing but Im going to be honest about that song....I love it so much, Ive co-opted it for us straight guys that like a good love song and there is no song current that I know of that describes a relationship better than this lol. love em hate em love to hate em (typical relationship vibes)
Their sexual orientation never crossed my mind. Her being gay isn’t much of a surprise when she mostly wears masculine clothing. I guess in some ways it’s obvious if you were looking. I don’t think they need a gay song but I also don’t think their fanbase cares either way.
Please stop pandering. As the straight male you're referencing, I can confidently state that we don't care about any of that. Just keep making music with our tax dollars.
So a queer person cannot make a queer song because it's pandering to queer people? What's the alternative, erase queer people from pop culture? Do you hear how ludicrous you sound, trying not to feign bigotry by blaming it on capitalism?
Straight guy and I love the song. Love the album. Keep up the great work!
It’s a vibe, favorite song by ya’all, excited to hear your next album.

T&S got nothing on them.

Love is love. And I love you ladies. Keep kicking ass. 💙✌️🗽
All you girls rock! It does not matter who you take to bed what matters is that you are a good person. Keep rockin' Canada and the world ladies!!

Yes and we fucking love it thank you
Best song on the album - hope it's the next single!
It's funny I hated it initially because I thought it sounded too modern pop. But I keep coming back to it! It's so good.
You guy's rocked it up in Cambridge ❤
My favorite song of yours!
This is the best song from the album! I love it, I love this band
I like learning about you guys
Leandra was the first one I was looking at when I finally watched one of these videos 😊
Your song is my life right now... I love my wife!
Very touching!
Keep rocking it girls!!!
My favourite song on the album!

I interpreted the whole album as gay ❤ love it
And it's the best fuckin song ever
You ladies are simply amazing, what a path you are blazing! Keep up the amazing work!!!
I keep saying it, mark my words, you will be as big as The Tragically Hip!!
Best song on the album. I’m suspicious the story goes deeper tho. 😊
Why does sexual preference even have to be an issue?
fr it’s so lame 👎 everyone has their own so idk why people get so upset abt it
“IDK, I’mprettygay” - Leandra Earl
Late show, Professional, Future lovers were all hands down AMAZING. But Blame My Ex truly lets your growth as a band shine.
Well we have had musicians like k.d lang, Tegan and Sara

Love this one so much
I like that song , 😁
obsessed with constantly having to ask your wlw friends how they identify themselves in that moment
Hun yall's keep up good music ❤
i don't care, man, i just like your music.
I honestly thought all 4 of you were lesbians or at least 3 out of 4 of you. Love your music I just thought.
❤️❤️❤️
Yea straight dudes love that song too.
Male? Try Alvvays. Lead by a woman. Great band. Current and relevant.
LIKE!
“As a rock band in Canada theres a lot of “male” Chad Kruger vibes” hahaha
Gender preference has nothing to do with music 🥸❤
So they got forced by fans to sing queer songs? Kinda weird
Their sexual orientation never crossed my mind. Her being gay isn’t much of a surprise when she mostly wears masculine clothing. I guess in some ways it’s obvious if you were looking. I don’t think they need a gay song but I also don’t think their fanbase cares either way.
Average Turdreau supporters hahahaha
ONLY TWO ARE GAY??!?!?!! I’m so disappointed. Lol. Jk.
Listen to these narcissists.
You’re not a rock band.
You mispronounced lesbian.
when, queer and gay mean lesbian if you’re saying they should’ve said lesbian ?
obv hella gay whatev good songs
Please stop pandering. As the straight male you're referencing, I can confidently state that we don't care about any of that. Just keep making music with our tax dollars.
Enlighten us all... how are they using tax dollars to record their music again?
This is the most confused and wayward comment I have ever come across on youtube. Congrats
So a queer person cannot make a queer song because it's pandering to queer people? What's the alternative, erase queer people from pop culture? Do you hear how ludicrous you sound, trying not to feign bigotry by blaming it on capitalism?
pandering? theyre queer.
that’s not pandering if it’s literally about their own experiences.😭 omfg youtube comments are the most brain dead things i’ve ever read
Love The Beaches…but that ain’t rock music.
