There is no such thing like a validity period of refractive surgery. Vision correction surgeries serve only one purpose i.e. correcting your current specs power.
If your specs power has been stable for more than a year at the time of surgery, the chances of increasing the power will be extremely thin (less than 2%).
This is why, refractive surgeons always emphasize on waiting for the surgery until your specs power gets stabilized.
