I am 44 mins in and I dont like the so called ml charactor.. he asked for a divorce, told her he only married her because of his grandfather... so why is he persuing her NOW?? the answer is, since he found out she is rich he changed his mind,, ,, he does not love her..and she has all these abilities of fighting and she cant fight off the ml ??? come on..script writer major flaw in the writing here.. and what exactly is ther to ever like about the ml??? @106.38 he divorced her and he is forcing her to have sex?? wow!! and she does not know how to defend herself? the writer I think was high when they wrote this cuz they make her physically strong but can fight of a man facing himself on her!!!

There's a version of this same drama with Zhen Ziqi that is much more enjoyable, I think it's because he made the character quite charismatic. Ending is still shitty though.
Wish she ended up with her assistant not that idiot of an ex husband. Also I so hate these women who are always calling the male protagonist brother all the time it is so very irritating.

Her ex husband is a good guy. I watched this show on the website... RUclips maybe a free place to watch certain parts, but not all.. Her assistant wasn't her love interest, stop putting two people who aren't meant to be more than friends or workers....it's annoying... I get along with most of my co workers doesn't mean I want a relationship or sleep with them.
The ego of the Chinese men in these dramas are unmatched! They'll ask for divorce, treat their wives badly & then have the audacity to get mad when that same woman decides to have a life of her own😩 She should have gone for good

Why? in the first place the ml said he want to divorce her wife bcoz of so called arrange married by his grandpa, the grandpa alreadt gone, now he pursue to divorce, when the FL sign the divorce and she look very happy the FL, He was hesitant to sign the divorce but then he sign it the paper, When the ML know how powerful and very rich, a doctor, now he pursue to come back his ex- wife, what kind of pride the ML had

This was one of the most confusing dramas I’ve watched. The characters don’t make sense and the ending pissed me off.

I was excited to watch as it seemed to follow a book I was reading. It does have some differences. Although in the book it is implied he asked for the divorce she was the one who brought it up. I guess she assumed she was cured as she had no symptoms of the worm while married and his grandfather had passed away. In the book he never mentions she is beneath him. They just got used to a routine and played their roll of a loving couple without realizing they were having feelings for each other. Her assistant in the book is more of a brother and is still alive. Book has more complications, identities (for both FL and ML), and is still ongoing (over 1,500 chapters). Was not a fan of the ending in this movie.

This version is funny and the female is funny and really strong. The updated versions of this drama are getting better with the female leads. Making them strong with almost superwoman abilities...laugh! Good though and wonderful to see and enjoy. Sad at the end though with the lead female's assistant giving his life to her taking the blast with the bomb, the only part I didn't like...but hey his sacrifice is for the good of all, wasn't it. The moral of the story is unconditional love. The ultimate lesson of all...can you give your life to save others and not only for someone you love?
