I'd just like to be real here. I am 30 years old, grew up surrounded by Sublime in my childhood. Continued listening after my uncle that introduced me to the band disappeared. When Sublime With Rome popped up, I listened. I've listened ever since. This band's lyrics have helped me through some rough spots in life. To anyone trying to ditch their credit, get a life. Their music is legit. Rome is the shit. Bradley passed. We get it. That has nothing to do with the ability to like continued music. One of my best friend's shot himself a little over a year ago, and we have been talking about producing some the content he recorded as an honor to him. No name change, no cover ups. SWR, keep doing what you're doing. I can't wait to get another album drop. You've got a lifetime fan here.

Had this convo with a buddy last night. I totally agree with you, but the 'Sublime' name has serious marketing power. Eric (and Bud) has been in a number of bands since Bradley passed and only achieved a fraction of the success. The purpose is to generate a buzz/create an audience, not to recreate the emotion and style of Bradley's Sublime. There is no replacing Brad, there is only one Sublime, but enjoy Sublime with Rome for what it is. Good music all inspired by the Godfather of American Punk Reggae, Bradley Nowell.

So for the 9 years they've been doing this shit, it's basically always been just one OG member. The entire project started with a lawsuit with the Nowell family. it's a spit in the face to Bradley.
