Set up a camp far enough from an area for loot to spawn, loot cycle loot cycle loot cycle, build on to that area, Block paths, set traps, build a watch tower away from there with a good view of the area, watch and defend your space, or watch and try to get some friendly encounters. Don't be a dick and build inside buildings causing them to stop spawning loot, anyone that building inside buildings is doing nothing but making enemies. Build stashes where people can find them and stock them up, keep a hidden stash for you and your person items. More friendly encounters playing this way. Still no matter how nice you are, still lots of assholes on dayz with no other goal than to kill players. They will camp your stashes to kill you and when you don't log in before they get bored and tired they will drop all the loot on the ground and destroy your storage just to be a little prick. Has nothing to do with the loot economy and that will always be their go to excuse but they are just miserable people probably with no friends because they are the way they are so they come on here just to piss people off and get under their skin. Once you realize this and learn to keep a good hidden stash and distract from it's location with other stashes and structures the games more enjoyable because you know you have something to go back to. Bases get raided then abandoned leaving the buildings they are in spawning no loot and needing to be cleaned up. Watchtowers make good bases when done right. Worth the time and effort especially is you build in a smart spot where it not too easy to spot. Stick shelters are great, Tarp shelters are easy to put up but hard to hide(recommend hiding them near large boulders and rock formations), Tents are also ok but without camo stick out like a sore thumb). People that play this game and expect to be geared and doing pvp right away, this game is not for you unless you learn the game/maps/crafting/survival, there is no point. You are going to die, die, and die again and again and again. Would be nice to see people commit to the servers they start on, instead of saying " "I'm bored" " and switching maps or servers because of time of day or weather. Shit that you start a life on a server for some fully geared asswipe to spawn in nearby after leaving a bunker(probably combat logging from a military location) and take you out. There a so few situations i've encountered on dayz that required me to change servers. Most of those situations I put myself in and i rightly should have died(being stuck in a vertical drain pipe i jumped into, couldn't jump out), being stuck up high somewhere and the only way down is death(again put myself there). Can't remember actually being stuck or glitched so bad I had to swap servers that wasn't my own doing. So I do not buy that argument. I understand how the hives work and that it may cost more money to have separate hives.
Thing is survival becomes easy after you spend a bit of time in the game focusing on it, so all thats left is PVP and/or base building at the end of the day. Both of which are pretty lackluster. Half the fun of a survival game is learning to survive. Once youve mastered that then there is not allot else to be had from that aspect of the game.
Well it's a zombie survival game without laws in place to stop people doing whatever. We would be worse irl and we dont need zombies to be that way. You see all these crazy people now, wait till the power gos out and the stores run dry.
Agreed, when you put stuff back in your inventory it would be handy if the item went back where it came from. The amount of times I can't find something back in my inventory because everything has moved around leaving me with 1 free slot in 4 itmes of clothes rather than 4 slots in one item of clothes. Hope that makes sense 😁
Great advice across the board. I just wish it wasn't so tedious when managing inventory on console. Drag and drop is so much easier than multiple button combinations.
This is what u always say having an m4 or something isn’t the game changer simply having a shot gun and sniper is all you need anything else is just greed I killed more people geared up more than me with low tier weapons than the high tier People always say they got over gear fear but the truth is having high tier holds you back you don’t take as many risks and the game gets boring and a paranoia simulator
I can live indefinitely if not for humans. I have a base on sakhal right now and living for days without any issue bigger then single cold for two minutes. That's because noone comes there or only briefly. I live in a cave that is not found on any map so nu people, makes the survival aspect quite easy. As in life only the humans are the problem to survival. It is getting kinda boring though, been looking for a place to make second "decoy" base. But can't find enough locks at the moment.
I have two already, one for Chernarus and one for Livonia. Chernarus: ruclips.net/video/kqCPlL33rdk/видео.html Livonia: ruclips.net/video/w_XRjaJmG64/видео.html
Mr channel owner , im new in dayz ps5 and i dont know how this game works .... can you explain something ? 1st best ps5 dayz server or top 3 . 2nd what is base for and if i make one i will lose it after time ?
I don’t think there is a “wrong” way to play DayZ when it comes to pvp vs. pve. My mindset is kind of like the Navy Seal that was asked what he would do in the event of a zombie apocalypse or societal collapse: “I don’t need to waste time prepping because I can just take your shit”.
I’ll admit it’s all important to make the game complete however I’ll say I do suck at pvp and wish I was better, however I do wish there was less kos. It would be nice if you could have more interactions with people. And like any game what makes it not fun is when your on a server with tons of pro gamers trying tk play as a casual parent like for an hour or two when they are sleeping. And when all you do is run around get a gun and some food then see your dead and never even have a competitive fight that’s when I hate pvp and I barely even go into town unless I’m quickly looting besides that I live in the woods full time And people still see me it’s like there cheating but I’ve heard it’s almost impossible to cheat on console
Stealth died on the day they killed the realism in their game for moronic PVP purposes. Footwraps are as loud as shoes. It's one of the most ridiculous moves ever made.
“Dayz isnt a pvp game its a survival one” people who understand this will get so much more enjoyment from this game

It is both. The survival aspect takes a back seat to PvP on the best servers

@@hankkingsley9183yes, this exactly. Anyone who says DayZ is not a PvP game is probably lackluster at PvP.
I honesly think the harder dayz is sometimes the more i enjoy it
"if your inventory is a complete mess..." And i took that personally 😂
Rushing is the number one killer . Not getting your self well and warm and rushing into situations where your blood and health are low .
Dayz is harder to have fun that it is to play just an honest opinion
@@Wakuppeopletheywanttocontrolus I’m not understanding ya .
@@NCrdwlfHe basically said it's more difficult to have fun than it is to play the game. Which is stupid tbh why click on a day z video then.
Crossbow is my go to weapon. I sacrifice space for the chainmail and breast plate. Looks cool and tanks pretty good. Very good tips.
I was so bummed. I found the Leather Fonzie Jacket and I could not find a leather repair kit, and I took off to dry it not realizing it was ruined.
😭
Inventory management is hardest for me. Its unbelievably slow on console
True controls suck dick sometimes lol

Honestly you’re right asf
@ I would throw my high tier loot in the water and kms just to have fun lol 😂
Tier 1 loot is all you need sometimes. Mosin + BK-133 + MK2 can take you all the way to Tisy
@@tmoney1487 agree it’s just too much time to invest to get that loot the risk reward ratio are not balanced lol
Until you get over it and put pedal to the metal...

could you please make a map navigation guide and or landmark video? I really think that would help alot of people including me

@ Thanks so much!
You are THE man!
My early days in game was brutal AF, avoiding people is best 😃
Great tips. Thank you!
Thanks =]

Can you do a video on the different windows in the game you can crawl through ?
Thats a pretty big ask, there's allot more than you think there are. It would be an hour long video
ok so for the gun sounds guys, bottle + tape equals SILENCER 🤫
Im addicted to ur content

good job, love the videos
Another Great video to watch.
Love the video and tips.
Thank you!
Mod servers with dedicated members in pve with pvp zones that is controlled well makes this game even better .
So RP severs?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fishing 🎣 Rod OP
Whats the best way to encourage people to not KOS? Would love more people to give each other a chance rather than saying hello with bullets.
Put your valuable stuff like bandages and other meds in a plate carriers pouch it’s very hard to ruin it

Any friendly active server ? Neo servers are not available anymore
Nice double zombie kill
Stealth died on the day they killed the realism in their game for moronic PVP purposes. Footwraps are as loud as shoes. It's one of the most ridiculous moves ever made.
I've never agreed with that decision. They wear down so quickly, yet give no real advantage stealth-wise, it's definitely a strange choice
Do another Xbox server video because the old ones have downed servers
Great video... But the biggest killing of DayZ is the toxic community... More lethal than any bullet or gas zone 😂😂😂
cool perspective, but dayz is bad in pvp unless its pc
EVERYBODY LISTEN TO THIS MAN AND DONT PICK UP WEAPONS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
